That almost double bounce ball from Ashraful, was that it? Or was it his famous AB de Villiers double bounce ball?
hmm I'm not sure if anyone did but I do remember Shafiul bowling a very (uncharacteristic) wide ball that looked like it slipped out of his hand, maybe he was attempting the butterfly grip but the ball just slipped out.

Initially I was thinking what the hell Ashraful was doing by this wild celebration just after getting 3rd wicket at 77 and 4th wicket at 92! Cricinfo was describing - "Ashraful is dancing again! You'd think he's just won the tournament". But I think there was a positive side as well! The whole team was triggered practically to self believe together with the whole stadium! I said practically because theoretically, win was already believed during the break - as shak stated.

He kept the PROJAPOTI back and bowled his front of the hand Shoaib slower ball I have taught him. 10 of them to be exact. The butterfly will come at some stage!!!

It's becoming hard to justify why we enjoy full member status while Ireland is still an associate member of ICC!

how can ireland be shoulder to shoulder with both bangladesh and zimbabwe when zimababwe aren't anywhere close to us?

i don't count T20 cricket as any sort of benchmark. nor do i count that T30 match against Netherlands as a good indicator of 50 over skills; thats just more than half a match!

in that regard, Ireland lead us 1-0 on netural venues, its drawn 1-1 in Ireland, and we lead 4-0 at home. The sample size on neutral and away venues is too small to say that we wouldn't win the next 5 games against them.

Ian thanks a lot! Looks like you have almost solve our problem with batting powerplay. That was a A+ spell by Shafiul.
