If the pitch is slow, I hope BD will play spinners well as they will get more time to play a ball. But it would be difficult to time a shot against their pace attack, specially when we have stroke makers like Bashar, Ashraf and Aftab. They all are shot makers and may end up with hitting in the air

Against Mcgill and Warne, the footwork has to be spot on. I hope our players will keep their heads cool.
Rafique and Enamul has to show some real works. It is really humid in BD(about 90%). Also pitch is known to be a slow one. So, not ideal condition for fast bowlers of either side.

If something to worry about shane warne, that should be his quicker flippers. We may see few plumb as you know how poor our foot work is.

I dreamt that JO hit the very first ball of the test match for a Chhokka, how weird.

Last night was Friday night and tonight is saturday night. Some more parties to come and it's understandable
One more thing, another sleep tonight with a sweet dream will take you in front of Hakikat.

The first day will dictate how the rest of the series go for our guys. if we bat first, prerogative has to be occupation of crease. if we bat first and can finish the first day losing 7wickets or less, i would consider it an accomplishment. with our limited bowling resources all i am hoping is for a disciplined performance with everyone contributing. for this series, i am expecting big things from mashrafee and enam.

If our players can play according to their potential Warne, MacGill, Lee should not be a problem.
We are now playing in the top level of cricket and getting confident about our abilities. Most bowlers in international level are capable of doing havoc against any opposition in their day. Today we are facing Warne, tomorrow we will be facing Shane Bond, Ntini yesterday we met Murali.. this will go on. Now its our time to prove our potential and abilities.

any word on the pitch? apart from the fact that it is "slow" (which on its own obviously doesn't say much, does it?) ?

The weather looks nasty. I think we might ended up drawing the test by the grace of Mr. Mikhail.
