nice. more venues for intl cricket would be good for us. they should make a pace-friendly wicket to develop some hard core pacers in our team.

Poisa beshi hoye geche BCB'r.
They should arrange more cricket for these guys than giving them more money.

If they play more cricket, they will get few more bucks anyway.
But the exp could help.

the most important post on this thread. This sounds a lot like wall street bonuses where CEOs are getting billions of dollars for bankrupting the company. How is it justified?

To NZFAN, current exchange rates:
A+ = $1572.25
A= $1310.89
B= $1047.77
C= $785.83
Rookie = $523.88

Match Fee:
T/20 = $511.04
ODI = $803.06
Test = $1460.11

Chump change really when you consider someone like Kobe makes $250,000 per game.

Not only you add match fees but you add the National League money the board provides. Then you add the Premire League money the clubs pay per year. This is before any adds they do. Shakib, Rasel, Ash, Mash, Habibul Bashar all do some type of TV advertisements.

Yes, you can't compare with the Kobe, Tiger and King James. You can't compare US top athletes to other nations. If the #1 draft pick rookie who have zero experience gets a signing bonus of $30 mill (Garanteed money) + the salary, how can other sports in other countries compete? Actually with the exception of few formula one drivers they are uncomparable.

If you compare with Football players in BD (highest paid professional athlete before cricket) these boys are doing fairly well.

Yeah, it wouldn't amount to much if you converted those figures to NZ $. But in Bangladeshi standards, they make for comfortable living.
