Default Dhaka Tribune – Bangla Tribune Private University Rankings 2017

http://www.dhakatribune.com/banglade...desh%E2%80%8B/

A ranking has been conducted by Dhaka Tribune of the Pvt Bangladesh Universities. Like all rankings there will always be holes in it, but atleast its a start for the country.

Its good to see Brac, NSU and IUB at top 3. I think despite this ranking these 3 were generally considered to be top which the perceptual analysis proves . I am quite surprised that AUST is higher ranked than AIUB and EWU.

I am a bit confused why only these 20 unis were selected. It seems the common criteria is to have a business school and judge the whole University.

IMO this ranking just puts pressure on the bottom ranked Universities than it does the top half, as students of those Uni's are more price sensitive.

Great initiative. I hope they continue to rank every year.

Also next step should be department ranking.

I think that will be a more useful ranking based on department. Unless I am wrong, I think common base for ranking was each uni to have a business school and judge the whole uni overall.
