Default Tiger spends a night at airport

Shoaib Ali Bukhari finally seems to have met his match in the immigration officials of Zimbabwe. The well-known Tigers fan, himself nicknamed Tiger, has made it a habit of following his team in many countries, a happy-go-lucky method defining his efforts.
A car mechanic by profession, Shoaib apparently left for Zimbabwe with nothing more than a ticket — visa papers, money all were deemed unnecessary. Upon arriving in Harare on Wednesday evening however, he met the solid wall that is immigration. He had to spend the night at the airport behind the yellow line, but the silver lining is that Bangladesh team management people went to the airport with food, and it was learnt that Shoaib is okay and happy. http://www.google.com/gwt/x?wsc=tf&u...JcbemAW1j4DoDw

"

It looks like ending well for the body-painting cricket fanatic as, thanks to the team management in Harare and Zimbabwe Cricket, his visa papers are being processed and he was expected to be allowed entry by yesterday evening.

Isn't BD political situation more volatile and risky atm? I think he's better of in Zim than in Dhaka.

Speaking of Tigers and Airport; I was in Dubai airport on my way back from Dhaka same time the tigers were en route to Zim....but could not locate them.

I want him to look right through Jeremy's eyes and call out his name as loud as he can, preferably when Jeremy is on air so that I can hear the fear in Jeremy's voice lol.

An article about him on CI: http://www.espncricinfo.com/blogs/co...ry/632392.html
Apparently Dhaka Bank is his sponsor.

Bhai, I had been, Zim is an excellent country, if u aren't meeting Mugabe. It's a vast country with excellent landscape and good cities. People aren't dangerous cheats like ours. It's a good tourist destination as well....

Only if every player in the team had his passion for the game.

He was there yesterday but without his new Tiger dress. Much better as we don't want him to catch pneumonia.

Shoaib should just fly with the Bangladesh cricket team and be with the team even when they are sleeping and training. He should be there monitoring them 24/7 so he can scream as loud as he can like a cockatoo in the morning so players wake up early and he should also scream if a player is eating biryani. He can be the one to whip these kids into men.

Bangladesh's tiger suit fan:
Quote:
His level of energy was extraordinary, especially when considering he had spent most of Wednesday night in the airport. A problem with his papers meant that he could not get through immigration and it was up to the Bangladesh team manager to rescue him.
Quote:
Ali has become part of the Bangladesh game and travels wherever the team goes. His job as a car mechanic can wait, as far he is concerned. That means he is often short of money but this time, Ali managed to secure sponsorship to travel, with Dhaka Bank picking up the bill for his flight.

It would be nice if he keeps this up no matter how old he gets. Even when he turns 40 he can be shouting as loud as he can with a wife and 2 kids by his side.
