At least he earned a batting promotion. Too bad he couldn't capitalize. In that team, there is no way he should bat at no.6. Playing at no.4, hopefully will temper his mindset a little bit from here on..

shakib needs an attitude check. Playing however you want is not going to get you too far in the longer version

First ball for six...tf is wrong with him? He desperately needs to improve his batting. Been in a slump for a long time and being content with good bowling shouldnt be an excuse.

The target was big. Half a day has already past. Enough wickets in hand to ensure a draw. Points was lost in the first innings deficit. The game was shortened to be considered as a one day game. Going for the kill was the only option.

I see no wrong.

SAkib now a days considers himself more as a bowling alrounder.
He thinks scoring runs is bonus,& focuses more on his bowling.
I think he shld trust more on his own batting skill.

Under no circumstances should Shakib change his style of batting. By now all of us should have realized that the only way Shakib will score big is if he plays like he usually does. Trying to contain him would only harm him, and I think the Worc. management also realised that and pushed him up the order hoping for a Shakib-esque innings to win the game. Though I would not mind a bit more controlled approach at the start of the innings, I can't complain if he continues to play the way he is.

have u seen how Mitchell and Moin built their partnership and then went for kill !?? almost all day long, Mitchell's SR was around 30 but he did not panic..at end of the day, he got his 2nd in this match and won his team. On the other hand, Moin also got 94 runs of 124 balls.

after observing these county matches, i feel, shakib is still very immature in his thinking process. All his team mates are out playing him. Gotta re-consider his approach. We know, he always gets run playing aggressively but that also has to be in a sensible way !

Good to see Shakib contributing handsomely with ball. His 5-fer actually set up the match for Worce. Well done Shakib.

T_E bhai going for the kill is perfectly fine. But he could have taken at least a few deliveries to settle down first. I'm always up for attack but not like this.

Sakib's bowling opened the door to Worc for a win or draw.
