I'm surprised this hasn't been talked about much, but today's SA-IRE match mattered quite a bit for us. If Ireland had won today, and beat Netherlands (which they probably will), we would absolutely have to win against SA to make it through.

The next game under spotlight is of course England vs WI.

I know people would rather see us make it thru by beating SA, but in my opinion, the odds are in SA's favor.

Also, SA are the only team who has set a QF birth. The other four are in jeopardy. How so? Check this math:
Eng beat WI heavy
BD beats SA
WI does a BD 2.0 on India (at this point, a must win for both if the above two results come to fuirtion)

Since SA is the only team that went though, I suggest they rest Dumini, AB, Steyn, Smith, and Peterson.
