Not a bad effort from the Irish, doubt the Aussies would have done any better against this strong Indian line up in sub-continent conditions.
Well done Nepal though, really hope they make it through to the quarters!

Why is it that off spinners tend to get reported quite frequently? Is it hard bowling clean being a off spinner?

There was another kid listed as right arm fast. Little probably fastest in the country already. Great prospect.

Agreed, India didn't seem to be much ahead in this case. However, the pitches are not very run-machine ones. They're slow and teams have to adapt to them. I still see India and Nepal would probably be through to next round.

I disagree. I would put them at no. 5 in terms of being favorite. They will do better than the other non-subcontinental teams in this WC, but that's about it. They won't be the champions IMO.

A bit of bias on here, what makes sub con sides superior.
Its 2 early 2 play favourites,Pakistan been up and down,Bangladesh had a poor series in India,Sri Lanka have not had many games, and you base favouritism on this form.

Favoritism of a team is also based on what kind of opponents a team will face and the condition they will play in. I don't have much confidence in the English U-19 batsmen to fare that well against some quality spinners from sub con teams in sub con condition. Thrashing Fiji and a hapless WI side in any condition should not mean a lot TBH. BD lost to India badly on sub con conditions, that is why India are the overwhelming favorites. There are just too much things that will have to go England's way for them to become the champion. But that's just my opinion of course.

I didn't say England we're going 2 win it but they have got some good players,Lawrence and Curran will play for England one day.I will be interested if Engaland play Zimbabwe,Curran was born there.
India are favourites but were shakey against 1 of the worst associates, and Bangladesh did lose some steam in India, dunno if they r 2nd favourites.
Considering results so far seems quite even stevens, shame oz did not come.
