Without Mahmudullah in the team the no. 7 position is going to be a problem.

If Nasir gets selected for the no. 5 position then the team will most likely look like this.

1. Tamim Iqbal
2. Anamul Haque
3. Jahurul Islam
4. Shakib Al Hasan
5. Nasir Hossain
6. Mushfiqur Rahim
7. N/A
8. Mashrafe Mortaza
9. Abdur Razzak
10. Nazmul Hossain
11. Rubel Hossain

There isnt anyone clearcut to play at no.7. Mahmudullah isnt a no. 7 but i cant think of someone else. Shuvagata perhaps?

I think people will vote on Mahmudullah to bat at no. 7.

Yeah TBH that's one spot which is still a problem..we really don't have a suitable batsman for #7..

Yes we can try out few options and see which one clicks.. But that's a long term process.. I hope we find someone and stick with him for a long time .. so that he can gain the experience and be a solid performer like Tamim/Shakib/Mushy/Nasir for the designated spot..

I hate to change the team after every loss.. Thank God we didn't do that to Shakib/Mushy who had their bad patches at the beginning of their career.. Sooo many people wanted to drop them.. So may be Hom/Ziaur/Sabbir can be developed as a specialist #7 batsman.. whoever the board selects I hope they give him at least 2/3 series to prove his worth...

sabbir and shuvagata imo, but i think they both have potential to bat higher as they gain experience and perform, especially shuvagata.

Looks picture perfect to me. 6 should go to rahim and 7 should go to the likes of shabbir milon or zia (though i doubt if he bats that low). Ideally shabbir because he is an allrounder.

That's actually a good choice to have Nasir at #5. He would get more time to get his eye in and settle in. If Riyad is not picked for the #4 or #5 spots then he shouldn't be in the team.

looks fantastic Nasir coming just after Shakib is good as these 2 are such good runner between the wicket.. they have good understanding.. Then Mushy should come at 6...

let's see who we choose for #7.. that would be interesting as that's a very important position... I would prefer a off spin all rounder who can score quick runs...No not thinking about Riyad as he is not a #7 batsman..

matro 13 ta vote porsey? ei style'er poll ar ber koiro na. Think some creative way of incorporating everyone's feedback. May be top order 1-4 thread. Middle order 5-7. Tail 8 to 11. Break it up by format as well.

Nasir should bat at no.5. No doubt about it. He keeps the scorecard ticking along.
