I think its for the first 2 odis but not confirmed yet.
Interesting to see no Razzak, Taizul, Shafiul and Nasir.
Good to see they retain Sunny. It would have been injustice to drop him. I guess Shabbir will make his odi debut.

Jubair is a bad choice for ODIs..Razzak should have been there, its his fav team he would have been played against

This better make nasir work harder and makes him hungrier. As someone mentioned he believes he was dropped unjustly, this should send the message across.
As for razzak, it time we move on thanks for ur services lala. With taijul, Arafat, jubair and gazi coming back there is no need of a razzak way past his prime.
Sad to see no taskin , silly to send him to some pathetic tournament, hope its nothing serious.

This squad for first 2 ODI only.

Bangladesh middle-order batsman Nasir Hossain has been dropped while teenaged legspinner Jubair Hossain has been picked for the first two ODIs against Zimbabwe this month.

Not a bad squad. Time to deliver some good performance for shabbir in the first two match otherwise nasir gonna replace him. I think same goes for sunny and jubair. Whoever does bad will be dropped for lalla.

We'll have a long tail with Nasir not there.

Jubair is a very good choice. ..well planned for WC. Smart selection by selectors. Sometimes you need to do gamble

Good thinking by BCB. Someone mentioned that Nasir's absence means that we have a long tail but his single digit scores from 25 balls won't do us any justice.
Also good to see that Taijul is not hurried into the ODI squad based on ODI performances. I think his bowling suits Tests as he gives a lot of flight. As for Jubair, its good to see a leggie given a look at.

Hope Nasir does really well in DPL (Abahani) and comes back to the squad soon!

Umm yeah maybe, but I just don't see Jubair being successful in the shorter formats just yet. The selectors shouldn't have chosen him just based on his test performance IMO.
Good to see no Razzak. Sad for Nasir.

Bad move. Tamim is back in form after a horrible run and Nasir could have got back to form as well. We need him for the WC. Kayes is a useless pick. Yes he scored a century in test but that was in a different format and even then he was extremely lucky to be dropped at square leg.

Good squad minus the inclusion of Jubair. He's going to leak 10 runs an over.
I wanted to see Shabbir play again. Lets see what he's made of.
Good idea to pick a squad for just the first two matches leaving options open for others later on. Nasir was woefully out of form. I don't see anything wrong with his exclusion. He and others Max mentioned will be in contention for the remaining three games.

if this is the only ODI series before world cup then it's a bad decision to leave NAsir, we need him in form before the WC, Zim series would have been the ideal series.
NO more Razzaq is a good news, his attitude has been very negative lately.
Good to see Jubair.
And I really want Momin to get the full series, if Momin gets used to scoring runs in ODIs that will make our batting stronger.

What will happen if we lose 3/4 quick wickets? This tail is WAY TOO LONG for my liking..
