Default I say this is a scary team.

Tamim
Anamul
Mushfiqur
Shakib
Mahmadullah
Nasir
Mominul
Shohag
Mashrafe
Shafiul
Razzak

This team, and this line up. Gives me a lot of hope.

Oh! Exactly alike. I have Mushy coming in at 3 though, and Shakib at 4. You have em the other way around. That's the only difference.

I don't think Momin is ready.
And Shophiul, well he does well in one match and nada in next 4-5 matches.
otherwise a very good ODI team.

Very good point. I just want someone who has the potential to be a depth bowler. And Shafiul is the only cat with yorkers. He needs to practice.

we should give mominul a decent run before discarding, he did play 2 important cameo's and he's looked decent even if he's got out early. i'd pick shuvagata next since he did fine and looked good when he played zimbabwe, then marshall after that. but first give mominul a decent chance.

These tigers won't take long to turn into cats again.. So don't be shocked

But yeah I think we are slowly but steadily improving !!! This team has to be one of our most balanced team where you can expect contribution from almost everyone. I think 5 years from with all their experiences they will become even more dangerous.. Inshallah !!

May I ask what Ayub did special to claim his spot? We can't randomly pick players at this level. Has to proof at lower level

Not at all. This team isnt good enough to beat South Africa, Australia away.

Mominul Haque, Anamul haven't proven their batting ability, they would fail against the likes of Steyn, Finn, Johnson, Hilfenhaus . Fielding is still a problem. Fast bowlers still not dependable. There are some pitches, where we will have to field three seamers.

You cant just pack a side with spinners, who can bat, and expect a world beating side

Good or bad... luck or not.... ready or not ready.... Mominul played a critical role in 5th ODI (and also 2nd ODI) both with the ball and with the bat. He got really two critical wicket and helped us contain the score to a manageable target ... he played a critical role helping nasir achieving the target.

After bringing him to the team, and getting some result you just cannot drop him...we are stuck with him for few more series before he prove the decision right or wrong. We cannot just bring new players and drop them so casually, specially after they play some role winning historic win for the team.

The same is true for Abul. He have shown enough promise to keep him in the loop. He should be one of the FBs who should be retained and rotated in the team along with Shafiul and Rubel.

Sticking with mamu wholeheartedly!

Mominul, Enamul (Anamul), Shohag, Abul - these are very young promising players. Sticking with them even they fail in one series or two would be essentilas for their growth as well as Bangladesh cricket.

I am feeling good manu!!

No team can be "scary" without a Chokka-Block Naeem!
