I would like to see Imrul Kayes in BD-11, his recent peroformnace seems to be effective in Position 2.

Well done Big Z!
I believe that he is a better choice than Nazimudn,Mhrb junr.
I had some doubts on his odi bating but yesterday he really showed up.
Now the question is how often or how consistent he will be in odis.
But I rely on him when it comes to test matches.

One swallow does not make summer. But at least he booked his ticket for South Africa. Good Luck Big Z and make us proud

It is still an affair of fortune tellers. A long way to go for becoming a 'Superstar'

Long way indeed. Thursday was his day, everyday will not be-lets hope he realizes that and doesnt get carried away. I liked his approach that day, and hope he can keep it up.
We need someone who can play an anchor role whether batting first or chasing-someone who has the calmness, the patience and perseverance to stay through 50 overs. This will give our batting a lot of stability and reduce pressure from Tamim, Ashraful, Rakib etc. I hope Junayed can play this role from here on.

I've been following that rule so far! Don't know if I will be able to restrain myself from not poking at the match thread today!! But for greater good (series win...muahhhh!), I might have to!

Today he didn't play as bad as the scorecard suggests. When he was taking a single from 1 or 2 ball in every over, Ash was eating up the remaining deliveries of the over.

No, Sohel your expertise is sorely missed. We may not agree on everything but your opinion is much respected.

ok ...here we go again...

why do we call him big Z? is it because he is a BIG "ZERO" ? GOOD FOR NOTHING? Another Ashrafool who scores in one match after 6 months? well I can't blame his Fan's for supporting him...but REALLY OUR SELECTORS ARE STUPID ENOUGH!

I used to say that a batsman who failed to live up to the expectations even in the domestic level cannot do wonder in international level.

Congrats on your maiden ODI 100 Imroze! We needed a new minnow-basher after Nafees became a Mofees. Play your natural game and ignore negativist hudmahs, especially of the chandiwala, Aussie variety. Do what Tamim did and work with Salahuddin to rectify your front foot and bottom hand issues.

Congratulations on succeeding on a day when everyone other than you and Moyna failed miserably ...

And we are happy about this 100. Last time I checked it was a team sports. You can't be happy with his 100, when team is losing. Look at IRISH skipper. He scored a 100 too. And I would take that 100 over Tamim's 2 Test 100s against Eng.

Stop this! Stop this now. Like Bashar said, we can't be happy with these things!

the difference is Irish Batsmen Porterfield did not lose wickets around him. we did!!!

Dude it is his first 100! and as a virtual! opener, he stayed until the 46th over. how many of our other batsmen have achieved that? if you are a fan of a player, and you wish well for him, there is nothing wrong celebrating his success....without his hundred, we probably would have been BUNDLED out below 150? how does that sound agaisnt Ireland?
