i myself dont want a secular government, i support the idea of
Bangladesh being an Islamic Republic, but I do not approve the
Jamaat-e-Islam party, they dont even recognise Bangladesh now and
I dont know why they are still running as a party. (If anyone doesnt
approve with my idea please say, I am happy to change my opinions)

no way, communism will never come to bangladesh,
if a leader goes there, he will not be alive tomorrow (high possibilty)
plus, the country will be so out of control much worser than we
have witnessed last year or so, it was a disaster, imagine living
in a communist Bangladesh, boy will people be mad as ever!

i dont know how they get the votes...perhaps coz my family in Kolkata are more educated that they never vote communism i still believe that they will fail, i cant speak for the majority (that is not to say that uneducated people vote communists) but in fairness communists have some good points, its just impossible to make it work IMO. also the CHief Minister, Buddhadeb Bhattarcharya, my grandma says is a good man, which may be another reason....

This is a historic opportunity to punish these thugs for their genocidal role. But, I have a feeling, nothing will happen.

I understand your fears bro, but provided the momentum and the increasing national unity with regards to the matter, the CTG will HAVE to start the process. In fact, some of the groundwork started a while ago after 1/11. Both Dr. and General Ahmed have been publicly and strongly in favor of the process. It is just a matter of time now ...

I hope you are right bro. As much I hate their right to do politics in Bangladesh, I am afraid, I am also in the camp that reluctantly agrees that they should be allowed to do politics for the sake of democracy. But, they must pay the penalty for their role during our independence with existing law of the nation. If needed, a special tribunal may be set up. After punishment is dealt, they can go on with newer leadership, and after publicly apologizing to the nation. I believe our people will be the judge afterwards with their vote.

Why the amir of Jamate Islami always wears a Jinnah tupi ? Jinnah tupi was invented by Pakistan's Mohammad Ali Jinnah. This is not the sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Really?
I didn’t know Jinnah was a fashion designer.
Too bad… he was born in the wrong continent… he should have been in Europe.

It is true that Jinnah came up with the two nation theory, the basis of which was religion. However, in real life, Jinnah was not a religious man at all. So, when he became the leader of Muslim league, party officials want him to wear islamic dress. But Jinnah refused. Even he didn't wear the tupi. To show people, he then resort to a middle ground of Islamic and western dress. And Jinnah tupi was the outcome of that. Infact if you look at the Jinnah pictures, you will find that most of the time he wore suit, tie with that famous jinnah tupi.

Just read a brilliant analysis of Motiur Rahman's life(notice how I didnt write Nizami after his name), in the analysis it says Nizami means an architect/genius, and it is given to respected people Motiur Rahman is a self-proclaimed Nizami and us calling him Nizami is showing respect to him so the writer urges everyone to stop calling him Nizami because he hasnt done anything to deserve respect..in the Jamaat website it says how Motiur and his family are honoured in their village but infact they are known as Moitya Dalals in their own village in Pabna from where he was kicked out and he took revenge on them after BNP-Jamaat won the elections, his armed henchmen went there and beat up the residents and forced Hindu families in that area to eat beef.
