This is Bangladesh not India.
We dont hv that luxury.
Who ever performed in one format gets picked for the other.
I'm glad they did not include Soumya in this tests after his ODI hundred.
Nothing wrong trying players in different formats but should not try the same over and over again, like we now know that Momin has nothing to do in odis and Soumya has nothing to do in Tests.

One more day of Taijul bowling 40 overs will be enough for them to skittle out Zimbabwe

Best pacer from both sides in this match!? Khaled doesn't hold a candle to the way Jarvis has bowled infact if Jarvis had been playing for Bangladesh he would have probably been the best ever pacer we have produced in test cricket until now since Fizz doesn't play tests much.

Only thing Khaled has shown is that he is still raw , despite the dropped catches he bowled lot of short deliveries and hardly generated the same movement with line and length which Jarvis got. That is why we had to resort to spinners every innings to get us breakthroughs. On the other side Kayes and Liton were struggling against Jarvis and Chatara whole series.

I’m pretty sure I specified Khaled was the best in terms of creating genuine chances. Jarvis got 7 wickets in this Test and 5 of them were gifts. He’s bowled the odd Jaffa but so has Fizz and Khaled.

Don’t get me wrong Jarvis has bowled well. But Khaled could have had 3 for 60 now.

Lot of incels and beta males from Bangladesh commenting on Cricinfo - much like 'older' more 'matured' 'level' and 'neutral' heads of BC- who are rolling on the road like a doormat letting Zimbabwe walk all over them. (Bharatbashi to shada na.... tai tader der pise lage. Ar Pakistani der support kroar to kothai nai. Saffer/Zimbo/Aus/Eng shadader gali dileo modhur moton shonay. Beta male aar kake bole.)

Funny thing is even 'logically' speaking had Bangladesh been in Zimbo's situation these disgusting beta males, cucks and incels WOULD NEVER have the same positive vibes of win at any cost mentality. They'd harp on 'fans are so delusional' 'pipe dream' 'crack head' patter.

No wonder I hate these cucks. They are duplicitous and hypocritical as they come who would sell their own country and countrymen out of spite and self-perceived notion of self-importance and superiority.

^thanks knightBD. i had that site bookmarked, wasnt working yesterday so assumed it woudln't work today either lol - never assume.

I want a draw so Mahmudullah is under pressure to explain his strategy and captaincy in this match. But unfortunately Zim not capable of pulling through - atleast not this zim team i don't think. any other team would.

Taylor will go, but need moor wicket before lunch... because he likes play dots and got good technique... need him ASAP ... because at tea it won’t be easy to take last 5 or 4 wickets...
problem that , if Zimbabwe drawn... series going aboard

I think Zimbabwe have blown it - with that run out, and some failing against a typical day 5 track. However, that shouldn't take away their fantastic performance this series. Taking a 1-0 lead right up to the last dregs of the next test in alien conditions is a commendable effort.

Fair play to them.

Good effort by Zimb.

BD was not themselves first test. It was though they were playing away. Bowl seamed about, Zimb pacers bowled well but BD gifted half of the wickets, silly soft dismissals. BD were ultra lethargic thinking it’s only Zimb. But credit to Zimb pacers, kept good areas most times.

But this will be forgotten, no one will remember (unless you’re a BD hater). Come the Windies series

Allhamdullilah! I hope the BCB selectors now realise it’s important to pick the right type of players for a Test match.

Ok. Next. Waiting for windies series. Got to win the test series to erase all the bad recent times in test and lift the test status better, and carry on the good stuffs done against Aus and Eng.

Very disappointing series. The young players have really regressed. Even worse, Mullah has etched his name in the test XI for the next 10 years. Fans will be writing epics about his heroic struggle against the mighty Zimbos.

I just hope BCB realizes you dont just give test captaincy to any bozo willy nilly, lest you want to draw against the likes of Zimbabwe at home.
