Default \"All Eyes On Mashrafee\"

for the CCL final between Biman and grameen phone, sujon, the grameen phone captain said that mashrafee can be the key factor in the final since he has to ability to single handedly change a game.

it would be interesting to see how he does.

anyone have idea how he did so far?

masrafee is coming back to beware india. i hope masrafee takes the critisism that saurov made about our team personally. and bowls his heart out. if i were masrafee i would be looking very much forward to playing nz again. specially richardson. i wouldnt be going for richardsons wicket i would be going for his head. a good bouncer with the speed of 90mph would shut richardsons mouth.

Mashrafee alone can't defeat India or any good team.
By now.. we already know that our bowling squad is capable of defeating any opposition(I belive it!)... considered that.. we have something which can be called as 'Real Batting'!!! (not the type of below standard batting that we have now..)

Welcome back mashrafee and best of luck!!

We don't need his batting that much enough to stop him from being able to bowl.

Then what will be our bowling line-up in Test with india?

1. Mashrafee
2. Tapash
3. Talha Jubair
4. Md Rafique
5. Aftab Ahmed (part-time)
6. Rajin (part-time)
7. Md Ashraful (part-time)

* Is Talha really fit for test?
* Nazmul Hossain should get chance in Test instead of Talha????
* Manzurul Islam Rana is good, but we need real batsman.......

****** WE REALLY NEED SPORTING PITCH! NO MORE DAMP-FLAT PITCH! ****:fla g:

Rana is not in the team for his batting he is a bowler.
Depends on who is fit and who is not.

Does anyone know how this game went yesterday.

Sorry bourny3, for my short sentences...
I was listing only probable bowler, not concerning any batting capability or any all-rounder. That's why I said Rana can be side-lined if you have real strike bowler...

According to all newspaper, CCL final was not held yesterday due to Arafat-shock.

I would simply like to see him as an emerging all rounder with a world class bowling performance. Even he can be a our ODI opener, if he is really batting that well, as he is doing in this 20/20 league.

It would be booster for BD team to see Mashrafee back in the squad, but he needs to be 100% to play in India series, he can't afford to have another injury. Let's hope that he will be fit.
We are so desparate to find our batting rythm that we are even considering Mashrafee to open for BD.... He can be a good down the order big hitter. Good batting performance in 20/20 is not an indication of a good opener in ODI. With patience I think we will find good batsmen from the squad we currently have, but it will require few more years.

The young BD pace bowlers needs to be looked after carefully. I think Mashrafee and Talha are capable of being very good bowlers in the future. I haven't seen the other newcomers, but heard they are quite impressive. Pace bowling is an art, not just wham-bam-thank you-maam kinda deal!
We want the services of our pace bowlers for the years to come- not just for a series. They need to strengthen their muscles, do weight training and other exercises to keep their cricketing longevity.
I'd rather see them go through it all slowly but properly. We need them for the future!
Look at Australia- their fast bowlers and batsmen debuts at around age 24 or above, and they don't have many serious injuries whereas Pakistan puts youngsters in too quickly and then pays the price through injuries!
Anywayz maybe i'm rambling on and on about this!

You are correct chyicarus. That is exactly the problem with the BD team. Spot on with your observations.

according to prothom alo today, he only came 2nd to ashraful in bleep test. don't ask me what that is, i don't know. from the report, it seems that its some kind of test that measures how fit u are. that means, he is ready. hopefully we'll see him against india. i'd say, keep him aside in test matches. that would be too much to bear at this early stage. one or two oid will be enough.

man, our pace line up suddenly looks pretty good:

*mashrafee
*talha
*nazmul
*taposh
*aftab

only our batsmen could put their acts togather!

"The 'bleep' test involves running continuously between two points that are 20m apart. These ‘shuttle’ runs are done in time to pre-recorded ‘bleep’ sounds on a pre-recorded audio cassette. The time between the recorded ‘bleeps’ decrease after each minute."
