Mustafa Kamal's candidature for the ICC vice-presidency is one of the topics that will come up for discussion.
Meetings this Tuesday and Wednesday in Dubai.

http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/conte...ry/551601.html

The Board will discuss Pakistan and Bangladesh's nomination of Mustafa Kamal as their candidate to take over as the ICC vice-president from 2012 to 2014. If approved, Kamal's appointment will establish him as the ICC's president-elect to succeed Alan Isaac as the head of the ICC in 2014. Kamal's nomination follows current ICC procedure of a rotational handover of the ICC president-ship from region to region. There have been attempts the recent past to push for a change in the ICC constitution to allow the ICC president-elect appointment to be made through open candidature.

This guy is the reason our cricket is going down, and will continue to do so. He doesnt know anything about cricket, and he doesnt have the professionalism required to head our cricket board. He is playing power games instead of doing what is right for the team.

Wonder where we could have gone if Saber Hossain was at our helm. That guy truly cared about our cricket and led us with passion.

I was always critical of him, now recently, I can see some achievements - one of them is channel 9. Thanks for this...Mr. Kamal. Now tigercricket is under (re)construction, my hope with pray, it will be live streaming BD games like other sites do that we have been depending on so long.

Channel 9 has nothing to do with him. Live streaming was initiated by the late Manzur Ahmed.

When we praise BCB, the praise goes to the BCB President as well.

1. Why is he called with love by BD fans as lotus?
2. How is he elected? Do they have elections like in BCCI or is it like SLC where they get appointed by BD govt?
3. If he is a politican, why is he putting his career in jeopardy by sending team to Pakistan? Either he seems stupid or working with full heart to bring cricket to Pakistan.
4. Why has he not been able to arrange a tour with India? Sharad Pawar (another politician) has lot of influence in the BCCI board and is also part of the UPA govt. which has good relationship with Hasina. Why is he not playing some politics to arrange a tour?
5. Is he fit to lead the ICC?
6. Should he work with SLC to probably change BPL to SBPL?? Both boards have good relationship with BCCI and they should be able to get some INdian players if they ask the lords nicely ..probably sell the rights to Sony BD has the money and SLC has the players. The current BPL is going to have problems getting a champions league ticket whenever Indo-Pak relationships go down.

SBPL? Thats cr*p from top to bottom

And y doesnt he arrange tours with India. Its because in your country there are some cheap minded people who only think about business and in thinking that not too many ppl will be interested in Ind VS BD match. Its the fault of your country, weve invited u guyz to come and play, we even let associate players play in our domestics.

So either the BCCI is run by racists or some cheap minded people who cares only about $$$ and nothing for the good of the game

We don't need any Indian player. Well, we may consider to give chances to some Indian players if BCCI begs to their lords in BCB
