we need to just get some old man for captain, get bak whatmore and play consistent matches
if we get a few wins our confidence will gradually come as well
ah, good statement....

i didnt expect Aftab or Razzak to be accepted by haba/ash fans
how consistant your haba & ash were/are anyway if dont count zimb/kenya matches?
so your illogical fanatism do not count - you're all underage anyway
thats why you come up with 'inshallah' and 'bismillah' every 5 mins
a pure personality crisis!

aftab is not only a good batsman
also a briliant fielder
and a great part time bowler
unlike your clown leg-breaker!

I've posted this before in reply to another of your post, I'm posting it here again.

If you have problem with Islam or religions, keep it to yourself. It's a place to discuss cricket, not for attacking other people for their belief.

It's about time you get an official warning for crossing civil boundaries of the forum.

yeah its definitely a forum for cricket - not a religious one
bangladesh is a secular country, not an islamic republic
why dont you warn those inshalahh people
to keep their belief within themselves as well
cos they do annoy people like me
i could take your warning fairly then
otherwise i'd have to think you're one of those banglaTV fundraisers or somethin!

Why does "inshallah" hurt you? It doesn't demean anyone who disagrees. It's not like people who are posting "inshallah" are telling you off in every other thread for not writing "inshallah"

it doesnt hurt me, it annoys me
religious belief should be kept personal
this sort of behaviour encourage fundamentalism
we already had 500 bombs at a same time in the country
if we dont behave responsibly bangladesh soon will become like pakistan and afghanistan
this is not why we fought the 1971 war mate!

so be a bit resposible and logical
no religion has any miracle power!

I agree with you. If we are to change captain, I would prefer Sakib too. Why "try" another captain? Sakib seems to be well in control in all matches that he has captained so far. And the best part is that his performance seems to go up with his captaincy, not down.

Definitely not Razzak just because of his age. I think that is lame reasoning.

About Razzak, I don't know much about him to say if he has it or not (to be a captain).

About Sakib, we already know that he has it. If he can keep his slot and continue to develop, the captaincy is his to loose (in near future). Thats how they are developing him. The only question is the timing of it. Obviously its kind of too risky to make him the captain now. Is it worth taking that risk? Thats the real question.

হোয়াটমোরের উত্তরসূরী জেমি সিডন্সের কোচিংয়েই কাজ হবে বলে বাংলাদেশ অধিনায়কের বিশ্বাস।

I do believe this n the team n fans need to believe too

Sakib has said that he wants to complete his education, he is still too young. Razzak has never been the captain of a division, he is not captain material, the only other person worth loking at is Shariar Nafees, and certainly not Mash.

i disagree... Ashraful is not too bad of a captian... he is just going through a lot lot lot of STRESS!!!! if he just forgets about cricket a few days and worship ALLAH, perchance he will bounce back. it happens to everyone in life under enormous pressure. because Ashraful once sang..... "Ami to Shadharon Ekjonn..." "i am only someone simple like you..."

For the first time I agree with you. But Aftab is not the solution. SN may be or bring back HB as captain and Sujon as Manager

now there are very players at that age currently playing cricket and deserve to play in national team.

and also it would be too quick to give the captaincy to nafees or sakib as they are too young like ashraful and could be a burden.

so i think Razzak should be the choice.

also another option could be bring back PILOT as captain.
I disagree.

As I mentioned in the past, you do not make changes so often. You have to let the current change blossom. Give ashraful a full year where the we can look at the trend given a larger sample size to see if he is the right person to lead this country.
