Default We should choose batting if we win the toss tommorrow!!!

Guys,

If we win the toss we should simply hope to take battin coz its time for BD to do some serious batting. I mean we need to get somethin around 350. This is golden opportunity for us to record a massive score tom. All countires heights total score is more than us. Forget Kenya but even Holland's height total score is more than us. What a shame dat we being a test playin nation dnt have some big teams scores...

So, guys in my opinion tom if we win the toss we shld bat 1st n bat well. Hope SN scores anoda century.....

Can't agree with you mate. Scotland may be a club standard team, but this is still an official ODI. Our team should maintain a clinical approach to this match regardless of who the opposition is (like the Aussies do). So, instead of going for any silly record, Bashar should try to take advantage of early seam movement in Mirpur wicket.

I am with TheWatcher. No funny risk, we should take full advantage of the wicket and take the clinical and ruthless approach to finish the year in style.

If we win the toss, we should field first and bundle out Scots cheaply and win the match halfway.

Everybody knows we should bat, except for Hablu mia, he is afraid that pathetic personal performance will be exposed once again.

It is always better to end the year with winning note..............but our batsmen so far didnot got enough match practice except the top 3. They should bat first if wins the toss.

Billah, I agree with you that Bashar needs to show some agressive captaincy from time to time. But we also need to learn the difference between agression and complecency.

We have taught the big teams how much arrogance can cost, let us not forget it ourselves.

we dont win matches against good teams that often. but we win against minnows.so we should take a little risk. we dont have much chance of taking risks and trying different things against good teams. this is our time. lets go bat first.

That would be handy to see us batting first but wise thinking would be batting second .

I m with Watcher and Miraz Bhai. Win at any cost. I have doubt about the batting ability of our team. If SN fail, with the exception of HB no body would be able to bat through. We would crawl to 220. Still we would win but it would give sniff to scots. The big mouths would say we won a moral victory.

Default At the end.........

At the end win is what is counted not the records! Scotland is not a good side to have a batting practice since our A team is better than them, right?

That has nothing to do with Basharian wimpiness. He's just yellow, nervous, has the body language of a nervous-nelly in the field. He scored a sad 30 odd runs against Zimbabwe in the last ODI. People said "Oh, he came good, saved us and saved the match."

Reality is, his batting was extremely poor. As with many times before, he ran his partner out with his poor call. That runout was plain stupid. During the match, he fell asleep at the helm several times, forgot to change his bowlers when he should have. And, he could not carry on to finish and was out in the most embarrassing fashion.
