Default The Ashes- November 23rd, 2017 to January 8th, 2018

This is gonna be one roller coaster ride

Root versus Steve Smith

Is stokes coming?
How about that guy Starc?

Aus will win this I suppose, Eng has a stronger batting on papers but Aus is overall more balanced and of course with a far better bowling attack, hope Starc and Co lose their virginity this time, been saving themselves for like ages.

Root is more talented, in tests I rate him higher than Kohli and Smith but he got temperament issues, has a tendency to throw his wk away after a flying start.

Exciting cricket coming up. BPL, then Ashes, lots ahead.

Let’s bring the Ashes home, lads. For queen and country - as Austin would say.

Even without Stokes. England will win. Woakes is as good as Stokes if not better at times. Plenty of options. England is not a side of limitation.

We'll see about that, Aussies have the will to go on, in-grained into their genes. Go back to duck farming

(No offence intended, just hyping up the classic rivalry)

Woakes hasn't been as good since injury, and with stokes also missing this could really affect England.

Keep dreaming. Remember the 5-0 from last time? Starc is overall a better bowler than Johnson and Cummins is not far behind. Any one of Starc, Cummins, Hazelwood and Lyon can rip through English line up. On the batting side Khawaja and Warner are beasts at home condition. Smith doesn't even need home condition. Young Renshaw and Handscomb are potent enough batsmen too. There is fierce competition for no.6 batting position. And I believe whoever makes it will make it count. Rest assure there will be few English retirements by the end of the series too. I dare say it will be a 4-1 or 3-0 win for Aussies.

Man your bowling attack is just too good, even a second string Aussie attack is better than most teams. Woaks is decent but Stokes is a potential ATG, no comparison whatsoever and on top of that Eng batting without Stokes will be overdependent on Cook and Root.

Just saw a Starc hattrick in domestic cricket.

To the right hander, he came around the wicket and yorked rhe batsmen.

I have never seen Mustafizur using this ploy before.

^Starc repeated the feat in the 2nd inning too. Two hattricks in a game. Normally when someone is in a form like this they get injured!

Well, you never know. He might go all ashes struggling to take wickets, which I know will not be the case.

Yeah, let's hope he goes injury free.

I don't know which team to back

Can I have some of what your smoking. You do know that Aussies have almost never lost a test at home.

Starc,Cummins,Pattinson are going to tear multiple holes for your english batsmen.

Look guys we got a dreamer over here.

No you cannot because I don’t smoke anything dodgey. But what I can give you is some English/British remedy supplement for good memory, because clearly it seems like you could do with it as you’ve forgotten how many ashes England won in Australia, you’ve forgotten the 2010/11 Ashes England won in Australia.

Australia have lost plenty of test at home to many teams, especially England and lost ashes too and will lose the upcoming Ashes series too.

Against a weak CAXI. The top players are all playing in the Sheffield Shield.
