Was just thinking of this yesterday and it happened. Good call. Riyad should do the same.

If you are not made for a format, don't play it.

Good decision at the end of the day. Thanks for all the contribution in T20 format and the match winning knocks but time was up. Still will be vital in ODI/Test format (except the keeping part).

Ditto

Domingo once mentioned how Hashim Amla's eagerness to succeed in T20 harmed his form in other formats (his Test average dropped from 52 to 46 at the end of his career). Hope this decision will help Mushfiq revitalize his Test/ODI career and prolong his international career.

Selection of Mushfiqur as of late in t20s was like using a CNG on a Formula One team.

He has to make space for new players. Was really selfish for keeping the gloves for a long time.

I think he has played some crucial innings but now it’s also almost time for him to retire in ODis too.

Banglacricket to aaar desher manusher opinion reflect kore nah.... Just because bunch of overprivileged, yuppy, English-medium-esque yuppie kids think it is "cool" to come to this forum, bash Mushfiqur or for that ****in matter whole ****in Bangldesh team from their armchair because it is "trendy" to do so. Banglacrickets opinion is 0.2% of the country's opinion. (Except for the selection. I am quite amazed how the members get the final squad selection right and up to date as to who are the upcoming rising players.)

This is why I always check Youtube comments to get a better discernment and cross section of vox populi. Ashraful was hated in this forum by atel-baaz members, but laypeople and mango people still reminisce him if not forgiving of his atrocity.

I for one never hated any player and never will. Thank you so much for all the joys and memories you brough to our lives Mushfiqur.

How ffin difficult was it instead of a fault-finding attitude like a goddamn bitter Karen?

I think that comment sums up how 99.8% of the country feels.

Let's just congratulate mushy for his t20 contribution and move on with it. He is one of bd's greatest ever wk batsmen, no one comes close to him as of yet. Liton might surpass him one day but yet to be seen. People who say's otherwise about Mushy's contribution to the team must be on some pills.

I think that guy was just being a drama queen. Why would you starve yourself to watch a game?! If he had really done so, he should blame none but his own poor judgement.
