Thumbs up Congrats WI for winning T20 WC 2012 !

How come no one opened a congratulatory thread on WI's WC win ?

Well, let me take the pleasure to congratulate them for winning the WC in style. Its always nice to see WI performing well. Since i love WI Cricket, it was a nice feeling to see them enjoying their moment.

Congrats to our WI BC members, shivfan, WindieFan and others.

Hoping to have a good series against WI in Nov/Dec

Wonderful stuff. One of the happiest moments of my life. It's not easy being a Windies fan but they didn't disappoint this time. Really proud.

And the best celebration.

Congrats West Indies. Lots of big things to come from this team. They have plenty of talented players for the other 2 formats too- Barath, Roach, Bishoo, Kirk Edwards, Brathwaite.

Congrats to Sammy. From not even part of the team to world champion. He might not be the best batsman or bowler in their team but he def has the biggest heart in that team. And most importantly seems like his players love and respect him.

Many many congratulations to them! Played like champions and they became champions. Good to also see a different team as a champion for a change. Will bring a world of good for cricket and the carribean.

Love their celebrations. Really happy that they won the WCT20. Gives me hope. If they can do it so can BD.

With the obvious exception of a Bangladesh win, no other team makes a cricket match more enjoyable to watch than the Windies. Was delighted by their success. Congratulations! Commiserations to the Sri Lankans though who put in an excellent performance throughout the World Cup.

Congrats to West Indies.
They should win more often, just for the sake of celebration in style !

A really fun team to watch. They play with a lot of style and aggression and are worthy champions at the T-20 level.

I sure hope they haven't stopped partying. I hope they come to Bangladesh all hungover and exhausted so that phenoms like Nazimuddin, Rokibul, Jahurul, Shahadat and Abul can truly show their incredible class

This interface between sports and social media is incredible. We now see viral videos mimicked on cricket fields, what next, troll face on Ramdin's inner shirt?

Congrats to the Windies! Their people really deserve it. They really love the team and have gone in very hard times recently. Good to see them back. I still think they have to prove themselves more in ODIs and Tests but they have definitely made a mark in T20I's.

Both finalists obviously deserved to be there. Happy for the West Indies and would have been happy for Sri Lanka too had they not choked. Too bad Mahela/Sanga won't win a WC in their lifetime, but the West Indians have proven what everyone already knew - that they are the masters of T20 cricket. The difference: they had done it individually in the past, but now they have done it as a team. Very happy for them.
