Default Rotation of players

Current players complains of too much cricket. Fast bowlers get wear and tear. Yet there are some players who do not get enough opportunity. They have to wait unti the current players retire...

How about rotation of players in such a way that about 25 players are contracted for a year. There would be around 30 to 35 ODI and 10 to 15 test per year for a country. All the players are rotated in such a way that not a single player plays more than 25 ODI and not more than 10 tests..

This will bring enough bench players... for a country. Also the players will be exposed and will know which player can replace which player who is injured. Will know if the player is good enough..

Some players has to sit out for tournament after tournament without getting matches as reserves and will be put in hot water suddenly when someone gets injured..

What you guys say. do u support this kind of rotation in such a way the that the quality of the match does not goes down, the players will not get enough injuries, new players comes and become better players and gives better bench players, more matches, more professionalism, not get bored by saying the same team for one year, healthy competetion in team in which no one's place is guaranteed... the players will know that to be in the team they have to play better...everytime and should not be lazy.

I can't even name 15 players that desevrve to play in the National side for ODI cricket. Please don't give Golam Rahman type players because there to young to play. Plus Show Me the Money!

when u r representing the country u want the best 11 if not for some other reason... But tiered is not one of them. Can you think what will happen if we reach WC07 final and 3 of our best players reached their 25 quota:P?

I think india's old coach lost his job because he made some plyrs seat in a game against bd.

So i think this idea wont work.

I like rotation of players unless its a key game (which we don't have to worry any way for a while).

Now whether we have enough pool of key players is another queation. actually very few teams can do that like australia.
