interesting... didnt know abt the change in captaincy. I was surprised to see Atapattu leading the SL team to the ODIs but Tilakaratne as Test captain... wow... although I dont complain... he is an awesome player... one of my faves Since the day he made the century against WI in 1995... anyone remember that match?? WI had 333 runs and SL made 329 chasing that total... Back in those days a score above 300 was defendable :P unlike these days

So its Atapattu for the ODI and Tilekartne for the Tests...??? I didnt even know jayasuriya stepped down/forced down... :duh:

I think Srilanka may win this test match.Because of Murali. When Murali caught by Reid bowling of Ashley he caught little smile on his face.I think he really enjoy to bowl in this pitch.

Lets see what will happen near future. He already got 1 wicket.

The one with which he bowled Gatting is called the "ball of the century." It was Warnie's first ball in Ashes, too.

Apparently the ball landed way outside leg stump, drifting in the air toward the leg slip before spinning around 1 and a half feet to clip the off stump.

"...But the biggest change in terms of England's ability to deal with spin has been the arrival of coach Duncan Fletcher, and a pioneering batting technique."

The pioneering batting technique isn't working at the moment.

Ah, the ball of the century indeed.

Despite his talent, I never got around to liking Warne. Oh well.

England have not successfully chased a highest target since 1928, although they reached 315 against Australia at Headingley in 2001.
Astonishing.

Default Test is drawn... :(

SL Deserved to win this test... Stupid rain...

Sri Lanka 331 & 226
England 235 & 210/9 (108.0 ov)

It was an all win situation... and I am sure Muralitharan wud have taken a 2nd 5-wkt haul... This guy is amazing... His figures (Overs, Maidens, runs, wkts):

1st Inn: 31.4, 15, 46, 7
2nd Inn: 37, 18, 47, 4

That's amazingly economic bowling even for a test match!!! He will soon surpass Walsh and I hope only for his best. And oh this guy is one of the most unorthodox batsmen to have ever walked the international cricket arena... He gets usefull runs though... He even has a 50... i whirlwind innings that was!!!

Surprisingly Tilekaratne cudnt click as a batsman... I hope to see him batting well in the 2nd test... he is a great batsman... The current SL lineup is awesome... without any doubt...
