Apart from Shafiul, Shanto disappoints yet again. If he can't be consistent at this level, how can he be consistent at the bigger level. He was supposed to be the best batsman from that under 19 bunch.

Bcb needs a kick up the backside for selecting Shafiul for the Emerging team. Wtf is this guy going to emerge as? He is a proven low quality bowler who filled a gap back in the days but today we have miles better options and why is he wasting a spot in the emerging XI. Bcb selectors are uneducate low class bunch of r.t@rds who have lowest of IQ's in cricket selection history!

May be they wanted him for England but after this performance he put enough doubt now.
It will be interesting to see which pacers Walsh picks for World Cup.

Hopefully this is the end of Shafiul from representing Bangladesh at any level. This guy is capable of losing a match singlehandedly.

Shanto is still young, as long as he is performing at domestic level they should keep giving him chances like this and at A team level to help develop him. Thing is I don’t think many BD players have been consistent at the inbetween levels of domestic and international, probably because there is so little of it for BD players they only play a small amount of games then they are in the international team and their fate is usually decided there. U23/A team cricket are great levels of cricket to help improve a player, should be more of it and players should get longer runs at these levels before advancing to international cricket.

Shanto disappoints, waste of resource. Compare him with Bijoy or Soummya. Nowhere near to the level of initial performances of those.

Mosaddek, Shoriful, and Yassir Ali maintained or enhanced their reputations from this tournament. Mosaddek should be in the Bangladesh ODI XV and in the Test XI (side benefit of Mushfiq keeping wicket). Shoriful should definitely be in the A team, and possibly should be a backup seamer for the NZ and World Cup squads. But with Saifuddin and Rony, we might have our ODI pace attack settled already.

Dont think Shariful is anywhere ready for national team. A team is a must.
