Default Road to EURO2016

Currently watching the qualifier between Spain and Ukraine. Spain leading 1-0 and keeping Ukraine defense busy altogether. Though there was an easy opportunity to equalize missed by Ukraine around 65 min.

Okay Spain win by a lone goal in the end. England beat Lithuania 4-0. Switzerland win 3-0 over Estonia. Sweden 6-0 San Marino.

Most of these results are 1 sided but FIFA or UEFA not thinking of cutting any country off like ICC .

Portugal taking on Serbia , this is a must win for Serbs to keep any hope for play-offs alive.

And already 1-0, Carvalho

I think Gibralter is the real whipping boy of the tourney. Both Scotts and Ires had large wins with historic hat-tricks against them.

As far as minnows go Gibraltar are bad but they arent the worst, they can actually score the odd goal plus held Germany to only a 3 goal deficit IIRC.

Thankfully got a last minute draw vs the Poles, badly needed that

Being a Scotland fan (country of birth), that result suits us perfectly as it restricted the point gap at the top and keeps the Irish off our backs in what is turning out to be the group of death.

The Germans are struggling it seems as they only eeked out a 2-0 over Georgia.

Crucial game for Scotland in Dublin in June, win that and I reckon we are in a good position to get 4 points off Germany and Poland at home.
