One of the most unfortunate thing ever happened to Bangladesh cricket is that we ended up with Jamie Siddons instead of John Dyson.
** I don't regret that Whatmore left us, both he and the team were tired of each other after long four years.

Dyson is straightening the Windies. Has brought in a lot of discipline and focus. Starting to think it was a miss for BD.

And you don't find him trying to change the game of Gayle or Bravo or C'pall ? They are improving without any noise.
Does empty vessel really sound much ?

I guess Bangladesh dosn't have great cricketrs like gayle, C'paul etc. Given the scenario I'd say hold your breath before concluding - it's too early, I believe. However, if Dyson were here things probably wouldn't have changed much. Cuz the team that plays for BD would be the same.

just get a coach from Norail or within the subcontinent
that will do
no use bringing the foreigne coachs when most players/selectors do not understand
neither his language or attitude

I agree with you. I would like to give Siddons a bit more time particularly because he has been given a team where the most experienced player looks the most immature. But then again i dont like his approach. We certainly need someone tougher or someone who can motivate. Anyway lets see how it goes.

I wont be surprised if this thread continues at the rate our teams performing without any positive signs.

Yap, same team with different coach. Why the graph is down? Becoz the new element is not fitting in. And how can even someone judge that Dyson could have done nothing different who even can't decide on JS in 8 months?
With a little fine touch many of our players are good enough to look like Ch'paul And Gayle. If we are not even able to produce that. We shouldn't play cric.

Now when I jumped up and down hearing upon the name "Jennings" some folks here at BC threw a cross at me. I wonder what magic would Jennings install in these nadan babies.

At least he can give some muli baash behind these complacent players. Too much love is killing them. Accountibility must be established.

Is it too much love or too much "you aint no cricketer,, let me teach you flukes how to hold that bat" thats causing the downfall? Trying to teach old dogs new tricks dont always work,, Especially not for cricketers who didnt even pass their HSC exams ( sorry,, couldnt resist that expression of frustration)
The rope for Siddons/BCB management is shortening with the days of a new government.. I bet the first thing the sports minister will do is to change the board who promised to make things better and delivered nothing. Had it not been for politics,, I would love to see Koko/Lobi back in the fold, seriously!!!
Siddons is becoming another Mohsin Kamal/Trevor Chappel who actually did very little to the cricket than blaming the cricketers for their failures. Mr. Siddons should realize that his whole credibility is in jeorpardy how he has handled one of the rising starts of cricket to a lost cause who cant even chase 220 runs and thnks 56 balls out of 90 is a good performance in ODI cricket. The last time I checked, Mohsin Kamal or Tervor is not working on any lucrative career paths.. For Bangladesh, for a team who started to contemplate of 300 plus runs not too long ago, now thinking scoring 200 runs is an acheivement? Ashraful/Siddons should be hit on his head few more times to get the reality check back and realize the year is no longer 2001..
