Nothing can justify age cheating. Most of the age cheaters never do a govt. job in their lifetime.

people... i was thinking maybe ashrafool should take a break from international cricket and play third division english cricket during the summer and fourth class aussie cricket during the winter... and maybe when in his 30s he could take off like Michael Hussey. By the way... i am sure all you BC fans are not fooled by bengali DOBs... e.g. nafees iqbal is 3-4 years younger than me... i am 29 (from CTG) and a regular student who went to vassar and columbia hence i would hope not to be considered a "feltu" student like our cricketers... officially he is 20, isn't he?

I agree. But, it is our parents who does the cheating! Ashraful has nothing to do with it. He is just a victim like many others.

I am considering to change my avatar. I will wait until the champ trophy, after that it will be someone else. Ash can't smash anymore.

mate, there is no way Ash was born in 84! he might be a baby faced, but not that young for sure. I told this before, and im telling this again, Ash was born around
81-82 for sure. my mate played cricket with him, and they r of the same age.

If this thread was about golla's birth day, this thread would have more than 100 replies already.

Ash scored 2 runs in his brithday and the last match for Rainhill, his last three scores are 0, 0, 2

Very sad, indeed.

I guess they sent him back.

Ashraful returns from Rainhill
Sports Reporter

Mohammad Ashraful returned home early on yesterday morning from Liverpool after completing his contract with Rainhill Cricket Club.

The top Bangladeshi batsman will join the national camp for the ICC Champions Trophy at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium from today.

The young national cap went back to England from the Kenyan capital Nairobi after the Tigers' African tour.

His second stint bore no fruit as he only mustered 57 runs from the three innings he played for the Liverpool club.
This was no different from the first time he went to Rainhill back in June when he played no substantial innings, with the targetted consistency still remaining elusive.

bcb needs to think seriously how to fix him cause looks like he is going down. he is a match winner and we don't have many in the team so bcb needs to do what ever it takes to grow his maturity asap

Ash is becoming Alok!!!

DS reported "This was no different from the first time he went to Rainhill back in June when he played no substantial innings, with the targetted consistency still remaining elusive."

I disagree on one thing here, Ash did play some substantial innings in june. But, the conclusion that Ash has not been consistent is very true.

Was he born in a hospital or at home? You may be in luck if he was born in a hospital. There may be a chance of get hold of hosptal records. I bet a good private detective can find evidences (first visit to a peditrician or family practitioner, first school he attended) to fix his DOB once for all. Knowing how impulsive he is, he must have chocked on the dal/bhaat first time it was offered to him and quite possibly required medical intervention.

Huh?! Didn't Ash score over 200 in one game? Wasn't his average before he left for Africa one of the highest in the league?? Am I missing something?

His double century was against a bottom placed 2nd division club (Rainhill plays in the first division of MSCA league) in a cup match. In the league, Ash's batting average was around forty before he left for Africa. There are quite a few semi-regular FC players from India-Pakistan, even Ash's UK-Pakistani teammate Imran, who have maintained far better batting averages than Ash had.

No wonder Rainhill has let Ash go even when they have a crucial last match to secure their promotion to the Liverpool league.
