Banglacricket Forum's Word of the Day
Today it's the word, sack
Sack it is. ☺
One less than intriguing day of cricket has contributed to this word being used, overwhelmingly.

Works fine. Mentioned in every post during Kayes' stay at the crease.

As in Bangladesh is a loser. Shakib al Hasan is a loser. Tamim Iqbal is a loser. Mushy is a loser. We are all losers today.

Today's word of the day is sabbatical.
Currently used in: Shakib needs to take a sabbathical thread
Which if looked at more carefully simply means, Shakib needs to take a sabBATHical. Only is a bath the man to take.

Today's word of the day is deadwood
Used specifically to describe players who are just taking a ride on the team without contributing.

I think it's hard to find hard hitters in BD.
Sabbir was touted as one of those guys. But I don't know what happened.

If T20 is going to be the future of cricket, and it most certainly is, than we need to produce genuine T20 only specialists. It's just common sense.
Sabbir has all the makings to be that guy. He hasn't done anything in Tests and ODI so just let him focus on T20. BCBshould give him assurance that he will feature in the T20 team even if he doesn't feature in Tests and ODI, then I'm sure he can be a world class T20 player.
Same goes for Soumya, but for ODI. Let him focus exclusively in ODI and not question his place based on tests and t20s. It's our best format anyways.
Except for 2-3 players, I would like to see completely different XIs for all the formats.

The word of the day is gadha .
Often used to describe Captain Mushfiqur.
I don't quite know the exact meaning but kinda got the gist of it.

The word of the day is record.
Mehedi Hasan Miraz now holds the record for Bangladesh, highest number of runs conceded in a test match without taking a wicket.
