Default Subhashis Roy's beef with Mashrafe

So the drama unfolded. I have never seen someone from BD disrespecting Mashrafe like Subhashis. Seems like Subhashis is pissed at Mashrafe for obvious reasons. Despite poor performance of Taskin, Subhashis did not get a game and we all know that Mashrafe has soft corners for Taskin.

Such altercation, would be dismissed by fans if this was NZ,Aus,Eng or SA.

Us Desi fans like to overcomplicate such trivial matters, sh1t like this happens in all sports.

They will be friends tomorrow.

ya .... there is always this kind of problems with senior buro players.... they always have some sort of favorites that they prefer over some young players.... sometimes it works out fine.... sometimes it doesn't.

In the last series Shubhashish deserved more chances than Taskin. If I were him, I would also be pissed off .... regardless how accomplished and respected player mashrefee is.

Please change the title, it’s misleading. Change it to “heated moment”. Using beef word there makes it sound something more than a few words exchanged, and got real ugly.

Plus. It’s a slangy word.

Only in BC, I have seen most are blaming masrafe.
These online forums are the fakest version of how people communicate or behaves. Completely deprived of the reality around it. Like a bubble. Most here faulting the both players. But in actuality most cricket lovers (regulars) seeing Subhashis as the only guilty here. Just go through bigger social media platforms like FB.
Mash is very senior player, even Shakib never misbehaved with him.
I agree that in this incident both were faulty here.
But as a mere third person I think as a junior cricketer Roy was the one who should've been more cautioned.

Please re-read Kohli_sox's original message and you will understand why it is relevant.

You may not agree with kohli_sox's comment or believe "its not probably true" or may not agree with me, but don't tell me my comment is not relevant. You are better than this... it is very relevent with the thread.

Senior ....junior players ... giving respect to seniors..bhah bhah ....bhal...(may be true out of the field) but in the field ....throw garbage sentimental talk in the trash can. .... those cheap sentiment doesn't work....a bad behavior is equally bad for both either you are senior or junior....in the field every body is the same....players (junior or senior) need to know the boundary and should not cross it....

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant from Mashrafe Bin Mortaza. #BangladeshiLegend.

Got to love Mashrafe for his great wisdom there. Passionate and highly patriotic Bangladeshi.

For guys who are blaming Subhashis blindly pls take a look into the incident. There are very few bowlers in world cricket who do not attempt to throw the ball if they fielded on the follow through. Heck many of them throw the ball too. Whereas Roy only gave an impression of throwing and Mashrafe was on the move too. Its justifiable. Whereas Mashrafe overreacted. So people who opened stupid groups blaming Roy and want justice should think twice. Mashrafe apologized and there is no need to blame Roy like 99% of the nation is doing so.

Haa Simone, very well said...In the heat of the moment Manoos does many things....Then the next day, Manoos thinks...Ai hai hai, chhi chhi...Eki korechi...Then the day after, Manoos tries to avoid that other manoos on the street (out of lojja)!

These things happen a lot but only the moral brigade in Bangladesh seem to be offended and so far it seems everyone is trying to take the moral high ground and just blindly bashing Roy.

Fgs this is a part of the game. Yes Mashrafe is a the heart of our cricket but let's be honest this happens and will happen again.

What gave it away BK da ?

On a serious note that reaction from Roy was quite unnecessary, should not have done that, but people need to understand that he is young and it happened during heat of the moment, BD fans should really cut Roy some slack after all this kinda stuff is quite common in todays cricket and media should stop stirring the pot any further, I sincerely hope Roy's career doesn't get affected by this.
