oh dont worry guys...he'll talk to the mp and resolve it...the guy probly doesnt even know the stores were owned by rafiq. once he does, i'm sure he will do something about it.

however, it's a big loss for a poor guy like rafique and just reminds us that our nation is far from becoming even decently developed in the near future.

i hope rafiq gets a proper compensation.

also hope that it doesnt affect his game.

screw the bloody bangladeshi MP's!!!

I think this thread is just pure ignorance. Just move on with it, there are thousands who lost everything they had because of people with power. If you want to get justice for the misfortunate, try for all, start something for everyone and not just think of one person because he is a star.

another funny thing, if something goes wrong in Bangladesh, we want hartal, boycott, strike, andolon. Come on guys, share something more constructive and meaningful ideas, I am sure you all can think better.

Rafiq isn't just another guy or another star. Strong arguments can be made that he is the all time most accomplished Bangladeshi sportsman. Show me another world class player in the histrory of Bangladeshi sports. Show me another player in any sports who can scare top-class opponents.

We are concerned about people who lose everything. This is a forum we want to show our love for our hero.

Hortal is bad when used to disrupt businesses and daily life and destroy private property. Just like any good tools it can be used in good or bad ways. Strikes have been one of the best ways the deprived have ever gotten their voices heard.

The societies that do not know how to protest lose their soul.
