Default 3rd Match England vs Austrailia: The rout is on!

It's almost over probably another over left in the match.

AC Gilchrist (LHB) 121 101 17 2 119.80
simply amazing!

look at harrmissions line, possibly worse than Tapash!

S Harmison * 9.5 - 0 - 81 - 0

Solanki made the best use of Substitution so far by coming late, in place of SP Jones, and scoring 53 runs out of 63 balls. But England, I believe, felt the absence of Jones badly when all their bowlers other than Flintoff went for runs. On the other hand, there was no need for Australia to use their super sub Katich.

I will be very surprised to see Gough back in England squad for next ODI series.

England really needed Jones. But Solanki was more important as they were floundering. Congrats to Aussies though. They are coming together just in time. Too bad Hayden is still strugling.

As for England, both Thorpe and Peiterson seem to have injurys now. I wonder who they will pick from those two.

Gilchrist is the best. What a batting!!!!!

How he deal with Gaugh and Harmission is amising. One thing is clear on his day no baller can get him out. If He continue with this form Eng cannt win the ashes.

Looks like, with the new substitutuin rule, the winning team will have more advantage.

Too bad for Bashar and Bangladesh team.

Gough needs to retire gracefully, another embarrasing display from him today. Why did England sub Jones hand not him? What a stupid decision.

Australia are 1st in the ODI rankings, and England are 6th ane the last two results have proved that. Australia will take confidence from the last two results, but England are a much better test side, the rankings prove that, just too bad the first test is at Lords, our record against Australia there is woeful to say the least.

Anyway, Hoggard will come back and his inswinger to left handers should cause Hayden, who has declined as a batsman, and Langer problems - both are weak against that inswinger.

I look forward to a competitve series, it won't be a rout.
