Default A Great Partnership toward victory BUT...

Tushar Imran

There isn't many overs left for the day but he managed to get OUT -- on purpose??? He is stumped in a test match where we have more than 2 days of time to reach a reachable score. (well maybe not by bangladeshis, nevertheless - enough time). Is that his natural shot or is he desperately trying to beat the Srilankans within 3 days?? We may never find out.

Default Re: Tushar

Just when a solid partnership (one that seems impossible to come by) was building Tushar lashed forward, completely missed a flighted ball by Chandana and was stumped. Playing Tushar instead of Bulbul in the second test was a mistake.

Well, play just ended for the day and Bangladesh are in dire straits once again. Why couldn't they just play it safely and ended the day with a fewer runs and wickets in hand? At least they made it to day four- thanks to the generosity of Jayasuria. It probably would have been better if BD were asked to follow on. They would have lost by a narrower margin and an extra two days to rest. The extra two days of rest seems more enticing to the BD batsmen than slugging to out for five days. For goodness sake if Manju can play 41 balls why can't all the batsman just do the same. I really wouldn't mind if they didn't score. Just stay at the crease. It seems that playing for five days would be an accomplishment in itself.

If Monju can bat for 41 balls, these players sure can bat lot longer. All it proves is that, they are not determined enough, they are not trying.

Tehsin bhai came up with an punishment and reward idea long time ago.

I think its time, we push that.

Default Tushar

Tushar's a one day batsman, same goes for Hannan. At least Hannan can score hundreds, Tushar can only do 50s. His shot selection made it evident that the boy has to learn to prioritize his cricket. Send 'em to a camp where they will drill down the DUH factor - It's a five day match, the longer you stay, the more you score. HELLO ?

You don't have to go forward and try to hit everything thrown at you. Seriously, everyone in the board knows that you got to play the balls according to their merit and all that bull and you are telling me that Tushar and his teamates don't kno wthat ? Everyone knows that your first instinct should be to guard your wicket and punish/tap the odd ball. How come none of our batsmen show any sign of patience ? That's the number one virtue lacking among our boys. Kono dhorjo nai. Amader belai shob ulto. Everyones a whacker, not waiting for the right moment or rights balls, they got to have it right there right then.

They do't need a bowling coach, they need a shrink to work on them and slow them down a notch or two. Clear their heads and help rebuild the self-esteem they lost ...............
