Default Was it Topshe or Bash...let England reach 391

71 runs in 6 overs was what Tapash Baisha did for hungry England batsmen and he was aided again by our captain Basher to go for the 7th over that made English total richer in a moment. Why Bash had to call this run donor to come back?
When Struss was getting 4 after 4s in his leg side- did any one see Basher to take initiative to seal that HOLE? Did any one see Basher to talk to his bowler at least once?
As a captain Basher saw with us how Hamirson was taken off after Ashrafs' treatment.
9 players contributed 58 runs in last ODI against England. Our goal should be taking lesson from these matches. Who we can use instead of Baisa. ODIs are game of runs- not wickets.
I will not pray for anything else other than consistency in the bats of Ashraf, Aftab, Javed followed by inconsistency in the bats of Nafis (not a single good score!), Tushar and others who continues to work against their 'name'.

As you have explained they are both to blame for BD's poor performance. Bashar has shown no leadership skills throughout this tour. He has no willingness to learn from the best.

Should we give Shadat a chance (perhaps)?

Yes, it was a 'total team effort'.

if one follows bashar's captaincy..he seldom if ever goes out for a sixth bowler...

aftab was almost a sixth bowler when got that 5 wickets.. but rajin was the captain on that day...

in fact, it might be possible, even before the innings underways, to predict who will bowl what over...

he could have brought Mashrafi just after the fall of Flintoff..

We lost the match due to lack of team effort (or our team's limitations), but it was Bashar who let England come so close to four hundred runs through his unimaginative captaincy.

In that day, no other experiment would hurt. i mean what would be worse? they were scoring freely anyway. so, trying out ash for an over or two was not a bad idea. bashar never did that. since we do not have a option to change the captain now we have to stick to bashar but dav should work on his captaincy as well. may be going over the video latter on and tell him what could he do differently and stuff.

The answer is Bashar. A bowler might get beaten, and then may come back. But its the job of the captain to figure out ways to slow opponent`s run rate, and bashar didnt bother.

If a bowler is going for runs, it`s absolutely fair (common sense) to try a parttime bowler in an ODI. In other words, Tapash could also get some rest. He could think how to do better in his next over, but Bashar DOESN`T GET this pressure role on the bowlers.

Bashar is ruining this team's morale and destroying young bowler's carrer. His IQ level is too low as far as i understand. Then he cant call a toss properly.
