This 4 day match will guarantee him in the test team.

in fact he will be playing in all formats ... Opening pair will not be disturbed at all ... That's what I think

By God, Shahadat is Rocking ... again 52/3, while Rubel and Shafiul was struggling on day 3 .... A little discipline with No ball, wides and short ball can make him our best at the moment, if he isnt already.

^^ Yes, back to back half century just when he was about to be rested from the national team.
Just wish he would show this much fighting spirit when it matters the most.

shuvagata ended his poor run in the practice matches with a 45 NO, but i feel he is behind kapali, nasir and naeem in the order now

Imrul is in. I would go with Naeem for now in the place of Nasir/Alok/Hom.

Imrul has bounced back very nicely after struggles in the Zimbabwe tour and the BCB Cup. I just hope he clicks better in the WI tour. Also not get bogged down while Tamim's hitting on the other end and slowing down. That's been his biggest problem. His problem actually hasn't been his boundary hitting. It's just he's content in blocking deliveries rather then rotating the strike at times. Hope he does a better job at it this series. Wish him all the best.

I am not impressed with these few fata morgana-esque innings at all. None of them showed that much effort to be in test cricket level. Most of them trying heart and soul to be back in the team or saving their current position. After achieving that they will show their true color in International Level against tougher opponents. Unfortunately, we have no one better than them atm. so best of luck guys!

Seen this before. Total success is a long term process, not a matter of one or two flukes.

Well done Imrul. Please have this form during WI and Pak series. Dont think that you have made two back to back half centuries in this practice match and your job is done..

This is the same problem for Naeem as well.

This is why he doesn't have a single 150+ score in 94 FC innings. His highest score is only 126. This is not good for a player who played over 80 of these innings in top 4.

Most of the time he just blocks blocks and blocks, no matter what the situation is.

I think Imrul should play more test. Due to his habit of giving dot balls. :P :P :P

Forget the Test, Imrul might play the T20 as well for these two 50s.

It's actually the problem with all our batsmen except Shakib and you see why he does so well compared to the others. The blame goes more to the system then the players. Their obviously not teaching basic aspects of the game. Otherwise you wouldn't see so many players having this problem.
