Decent idea. Got nothing to complain against this decision. Shakib for t20, Mashrafe for odi and mushy for test should be good.

Dont want too see change in ODI's (Yet) why change the winning formula? we did well in Asia Cup and so did mushy (except last over with shahdat) but it will come with experience, if he seems lost like in T20s then maybe Shakib but give him a few more series 2 or 3 minimum. Why change it all of a sudden. But for T20s change would be good and 50/50 for tests.

Please no ashrafool as captain maybe in backup for T20s ONLY. A few months ago he wasnt gud enough for playing 11 and now captain? NO.

T20s- Shakib Vice-Ash
ODIs - Mushfiq Vice-Shakib
Test- Mushfiq/Mash Vice-Musfiq/Mash

Mashrafe doesn't play test. You can replace mash with tamim.

the captaincy is a tough thing for BD because basically the best players are developing and the older ones either haven't cemented their spot or don't have the best leadership skills. for example razzak is basically a lock for t20s and ODIs but could he be the captain? mash doesn't play tests and anyone what are his on field captaincy skills like? ash, don't really need to say anything...

so picking 3 different captains will be tough, mainly because you need a player who has cemented their spot, performs consistently and has the right leadership qualities. how many of those are their in the nationals et up right now? pretty much only shakib, but he's already burdened with being the #1 bowler, #1 batter and all the pressure that comes with that, to give him captaincy again, at this stage of the career means we'll most likely be sacrificing some of his development as a player.

besides shakib is one player not 3, which is what they're looking for.

How is it that Shakib's name is not even on the list of Nominees?

The question should be how is Ash's name on that list? WTH are they doing?

Btw, according to banglanews, Lotus is not happy with Swift's performance. He also didn't like our player's eating habits

I still don't know what to make of it. Let's see who they nominate. They can make one 2 captains. One for T20/ODI and one for Test

Ash is the luckiest cricketer alive (if he becomes capt) with his consistent mediocre performance.

I think it's harsh on Mushy. He deserved a longer run before such drastic measures. The nominees are interesting to say the least. I wouldn't dismiss Tamim as a candidate. I think he has it in him to become a good captain but only if he brings a little more maturity to the way he carries himself off the field. Would the others in the team be motivated to give their all in training if the captain himself has a half-assed approach to it? But I think Tamim, with his background, has a good cricketing brain and he also has a good working relationship with the rest of the seniors. I am a little more apprehensive about throwing leadership back on Shakib's already over-filled plate and am worried that it may become an impediment to his growth as a world-class cricketer. One thing that's indisputable is that Riyad must face the axe. I have defended him in the past but it has become clear that he isn't cut out for this level let alone being VC.

The ashraful we have now is better than the ash we had 1 year ago. So let's just praise the lord we even have ash in this team! And another thing is that ash works harder in the nets and practice then shakib or tamim does. I got some inside news!

I don't care who the captain is as long as they follow Shakib's lead.
