Umm no - his mind should be on the baby and not on a disruptive entrance into a winning team.

That will be great if he comes.

That's not a bad news at all if true. Tamim himself is an average player in t20s but is miles ahead than any rony's or mithun's. A 25 balls 30 from Tamim is still better than scoring ducks after ducks.

I will take a one legged, one handed Tamim over a combined talent of Mithun, Nurul and Imrul any day of the week.

If the baby and mom are doing fine, he ought to come back, especially since he'd replace far inferior Mithun. He's been on paternity leave for several days now and if there were no OB complications, and Tamim is not planning on breastfeeding the infant, he should be back. Especially if he wants to be back.

Didn't expect this from a father of 4. Fathers are USELESS specially in Bangladesh.
In around the whole world, fathers are earning money the next day after child's birth - Tamim should be no exception....
Cut the emotional crap out and talk real life.
He wasn't in the squad for asia cup so i don't think he can be chosen but i been saying giving him this absence was a mistake....

Pakistan is all names. No guts or desire in that batting lineup. Can't see us losing unless Amir and Irfan rip through our top 5 within 10 overs.

Bro I can see them ripping through us in 5 overs. Amir bowled as amazing a spell I've seen in a while vs India. I'm really worried. Especially with the way our current openers are playing.

This swap will improve our team believe it or not, Tamim at the top instead of mithun will be like playing 12 men instead of 10. Plus mustafizur is not used early on to provide the breakthroughs, Rony will be a handful in the death overs. People need to lower the negativity over this.

I think you forgot that tamim is not a good t20 player after seeing Mithun. Of course compared to mithun tamim seems like the reincarnation of Bradman, i get that.

I did and he did well in PSL. But t20 internationals he has played 44 matches and just scored 3 fifties. He averages 20 with a strike rate of 107. He has not done anything in international cricket in t20 and so to say the team will be better off without mustafizur because of Tamim's inclusion is a bit of a stretch.

Haider Rony....does he have pace or swing? or both? People who followed BPL please tell us about the strengths and weaknesses of Rony. I'm sure he does not have slower balls or cutters like Mustafiz, but does he generate tear-away pace or banana-swing?

He has both swing and pace. Can bowl yorkers consistently. Very aggressive mindset.

No swing for Amir today. Its the conditions more than the bowler!
