Default How to win from here...

Well, to win from here, we need to get WI all out before lunch and keep them to 350 or less. This will give us around a 70 run lead.

After lunch we need to make sure we don't lose early wickets. As soon as we have a decent score with wickets in hand (for eg. 70-1), we need to start attacking and make quick runs. This would be another excellent time for Captain Bashar to make a big score because when he's at the crease, our run meter is always flying.

We need to keep batting until the end of the last session and make a score of around 230-250 and get all out or declare. This will give the WI a target of 300-320 on the last day.

This is a sufficient total for us to defend on the 5th day. Of course, WI is a crazy team and they have chased down big scores in the 4th innings before. However, as long as we make the most of our chances (ie. no dropped catches and missed run outs) and get Lara out for less than 50, we will have a better than excellent chance of taking the 10 wickets.

I only hope that there will be no rain whatsoever in the next 2 days and play can start early so that we can make up most of the nearly 50 overs lost in this match so far.

Default to win....

.... we need to drop more catches.

our winning chances are almost over because of those drop catches.

First things first. Bowl out the Windies as soon as possible. No matter what happens, BD need to focus and not succumb to the usual 2nd innings collapse. We need to post 250 minimum if we can go into the 2nd innings with any lead. If we go in with a deficit, we should look to bat for as long as possible. Just occupy the goddamn crease, and force the draw, because a win ain't gonna come.

What I don't want can happen again. I am thinking WI is still in the game. As sometimes we don't do well in 2nd innings.... if we got out around 150-200 WI will win the match even we have 50-100 run lead in the first innings. I just cannot depend on the BD players, so many times........

they dont give many chances and when it comes Bangladesh have to grab them, 9 catches dropped!!!:P and also take into consideration Bangladesh have a history of losing their way after starting brightly

But anyway I am still happy that Rafiq got his century, message is loud and clear BANGLADESH NUMBER 9 CAN SCORE A CENTURY IN WEST INDIES............. HAHAHAHA

Have patience Asif bhai!

The rain can also mean that WI will lose wickets faster than expected , the rain can certainly destroy their concentration as it did to Bashar's concentration. So, cheer up man

damn, the stupid rain is gonna make it awfully hard for us to win from here. BD has done everything right so far by bowling out da windies for around 350. We took a 64 run lead. If only we had 70 overs left for the day, then we would have had a chance to set WI a 300 run target for the last day. Oh well, lets just hope BD can make quick progress for the last 30-odd overs of the day and bat until the first hour of tomm's morning session. We might still have 75 overs to bowl the windies out.

how to avoid lose from here?

pilot and rajin has to occupy the crease for at least 30 overs tomorrow. that would give rafique and taposh to get some quick runs and our total might go to close to 200. 260 runs in a half day is not "dudu vaat" and hopefully WI will not try hard trying to avoid lose. so, that will bring us a draw. no way for win from here at all.
