BD team haven't done that bad today considering they were in a unknown condition and foreign soil. But i was expecting some fireworks from the batsman like Masrafe did in his bowling!

I think Ash is due for a big innings. Its been a long time since he scored a big one! Considering the chances i would like to see Ash score a double in this series.

Wow!! what did you say? A double? meaning a double century? He would surpass Sir Viv Richard before Afridi, Dhoni and others? First one in the history of the game (ODI) to score a double century?

Or did you mean a double digit score? Like say 11, 12

"His opening partner Shahriar Nafees (12 off 16) fell early by getting too flashy while Mohammad Ashraful had one more disappointing outing when he fell for 12 (32 balls). His was a soft dismissal as he offered a tame catch to cover off leg-spinner Kamungozi."

Rainhill is no too far off! Put him on the first flight back to Liverpool. What a waste of opportunity. Play Mushfique in his place.

Ashraful has very good chance of scoring a double (2) in this series.

^^ lol

So much [sarcasm]thoughtful and balanced[/sarcasm] criticism. JO haters are still at large, he got 45 with luck or not he does best within his limitations, while our superstar [insert here] barely manages to reach double figure.

Anyway, nice to see Aftab scoring runs. I reckon he'll be our top scorer if not Nafees. Looking forward to see some centuries!

first of all thanks for the report by rabeed imam and thank you for posting over here. We were eagerly waiting for it.
So far it looks good to see players getting an idea of pitch, field and conditions, though Harare ground could be different.
I am concerned about Masrafee's back man. I don't want him to be like Shohaib. Hope Bashar would know how to use him. He should not have more than three overs in first session. then can break up the overs.
Great to see, Rajib using aggression. But aggression without brain is regression.
Rest did pretty OK but wanted to see more wkts for two "R"s

Hehe what can i say about JO. He is our JO. Can't deny his contribution of 45. Second highest score and ofcourse it is important. If he could have done it in 60 balls that would have been fantastic. Ah guess "Something is better than nothing", atleast he didn't got out cheaply like SN or Ash.

Whenever Ash was at his back he did something like nobody ever did before.. His beginning was by creating a history(maiden century).. he thrived in world cricket creating another one(Century against aussies).. hope he will come back by producing a miracle..

if he fails this time, i am going to widraw my expectations from him.. for good

Some days ago he scored century or double century or both for rainhill. So he is not due anything for the next three (if he got) series. Definately you would see some double from him ( it may be double 0, double 1 and 11 )

Where is rainhill and where is test level cricket nation!!
Apparently, our selectors, because of lucrative deal, send him over there without even realizing what good it will bring to Ash. Ash is gone and he will be another Rokon, fault is our cricketer's mentality and our selectors' failure to make them good.
