Marshall Ayub is cleaning up the tail. WIHP was threatening to score about 230+ with captain Braithwaite going strong.

Marshall's figure so far 4/15 of 4 overs.

rrock especially but nafees hasn't been doing well either. the thing with nafees is he'll always have that test 100 against australia and he's got decent international averages for a BDF batsman and got a 97 in one of his last outings for the national team. that makes it hard to rule nafees out when everyone that is being tried is failing basically even worse than what nafees has put up (only challenger is imrul, and that's only for ODIs).

According to the scoreboard we've won by 12 runs!!!, if thats true then it's a fabulous effort from the lads i must say, especially after the pacers were leaking runs like there's no tomorrow, by the looks of it Permaul, Warrican and Blackwood (all spinners) really strangled the life out of the bangledash batsmen, it was closer than it should of been though because at one stage it was 186/9 with six overs to go, and it went to the 48th over until the last wicket fell, Permaul once again showed his class with a 4fer, Brathwaite and Warrican also got two each,

I think i'd give the man of the match to the skipper Brathwaite who scored a wonderful 60 odd knock to help bring the score over 200 when we were in trouble and then took two key wickets in one over early on to drag bang back when they were going great guns,

Next game i hope Cotterrell (who should have played today) comes in because Grant was way too expensive, i'd also drop Dawes for Cummins too, that should improve the attack.

Anyway so HPC 226/10 & Bang-A 214/10 HPC win by 12 runs.

Anamul disappointing yet again. BDa were in a strong position early on but as so happens many times they let the match go.

Not sure they "let it go", i just think they had a great start due to some very poor performances from our pacers (Dawes and Grant) who bowled the majority of the first ten overs, they were bowling wides non stop and kept going for boundries, but once the spinners came in they really took a hold of the batsmen and from what i saw the run rate sunk to around one or two runs per over for a stretch of around eight overs in a row, so pressure was building and when pressure builds mistakes get made.

Lets start calling our A team as the 'High Performance' team, we might start to do well.
