I was keeping myself away from voting only because I wanted to see if Shane could do any good to the team during WC T20 but sadly, I have to say, he has been ineffective and clueless throughout the tournament.

The matter of fact that he is not a head coach, he was an assistant bowling coach but later on he took the role of Head Coach of Bangladesh only because BCB officials did not bother to look for a better head coach. The wheel has come off now. BCB immediately has to search for a better replacement. There are only few months left for WC 2015. We just can't afford to continue with this management.

My suggestion:

Head Coach - Search mode on
Batting Coach - Saurav Ganguly (if he can work till WC 2015, that will do)
Bowling Coach - Ian Pont
Fielding Coach- Search mode

Naimul HD Ian Pont u ok bruv? Don't want any past coach to return.

In terms of bowling coach, we should aim to get someone from Pakistan or Sri Lankan.

The question is will Ganguli consider coaching as a career? I heard that he is not interested in coaching

Yes. It's natural to assume that he would not be commited to full time coaching. Players like Him, Wasim doesn't need to: they are financially solvent and they have other options to keep them busy enough.

Full time coaching is not a easy task, it needs full time effort and 100% commitment.

I think he will consider based on how much BCB is willing to pay and his contract should favour him also like he can manage IPL teams during that time, other than that its hard. I hope we can get him for a longer period of time.

Naimul bhai...
I doubt if Saurav would come as a batting coach only. In fact I am not sure if he is interested in coaching career at all. But if he comes then he will ask for the head coach post for sure.

About Ian Pont, I don't think he is a good choice. Though he is probably competent, he has a big mouth. This may create more chaos in the team.

Sadi bhai,

Ganguly has said he'd consider if he gets an offer from BCB. I picked Ian Pont considering his work during WC 2011 and BPL success. But I highly doubt that Ian would come again as Bowling coach, he once said, he is interested in Head coach role for Bangladesh. But BCB does not want him to be a Head Coach.
