Ebadat picked up both Shanto and Marshall. Pacers are having a good day at Bogra!

Now even Zia got Mosaddek! If anyone gets a century at Bogra today, he should be provided a ticket to NZ regardless however he fares between now and then!

Rony T is continuing with his red hot form as well - fifty already. The guy dominates FC leagues but got discarded after playing a T20I match

Hom-Mazid showing value of experience, somewhat stabilized their team at Bogra.

On a side note - both are from Mymensingh. There was a time Mymensing players got more opportunity to play for Barisal than for any Dhaka team in NCL.

Abdul Mazid came close, scored 76 on a day pacers dominated. With 40+ FC average, he should have been well ahead of Fazle in the packing order. Yet he hardly ever got a chance to play for A-team/HP team.

Congrats Ebadat on his maiden fifer- 6/51!

every time, naeem , tushar, or juhurul or any discard play good innings--selectors might have heart attack. they must be praying them not play good innings, so they can justify their non selection

Isn't it an open secret that the real pipeline in BD cricket is the age groups and not the NCL? Performers in NCL have hardly done anything of note in the international league. On the other hand, recruits from the age groups have continually perofrmed. In the last 3-4 years, our best recruits have been the likes of Miraz, Soumya, Sabbir, Mosaddek and Liton. Off them, only Liton can be considered a product of NCL. Hence, I take the performances in NCL with a pinch of salt. Frankly, the selectors are not wrong in not selecting Tushar or Razzak.

Liton played age group didn’t he? Thought he averaged like 40 or 50 in u19s, he wasn’t a name in age group cricket so I guess he didn’t play a lot but I’m sure he played some u19. Mominul didn’t play a lot of age group cricket either from memory, maybe even less than liton.

Yasir Ali should get some A team time, averaging over 46 after 40 odd FC matches, only 22 years old and he’s currently on 97*.

Yasir Ali with another century, does need to work on that conversion rate but he got the triple figures this time. Batting with the tail so we will see how big of a hundred he can make it.

Yea only one of your best recruit list managed to be a regular. One is clueless after a good start to his career, one down with a scandal and "hack" of a career so far, one can't play pace to save his life and the other failed to convert numerous chances provided.

All those you mentioned aside from Miraz have failed after showing some promise at first.

Miraz is a product of Under 19 cricket , so is sabbir

soumya came back to national team after good performance in domestic

mosaddek and liton both have strong domestic performances

if domestic cricket don't have any value, why should we continue even? sabbir is playing in domestic but he is not performing. once he performs there, he will be back in national team in a second but that's not the case for tushar, naeem, juhurul, razzaq, sohag gazi or enamul jr's case. personal revenge is the main issue here

Congrats Ebadat on his maiden 10 wicket haul!

Congrats Mohor on his second fifer (only on his third match!).

Good to see Mosaddek managed a century on a green pitch against a decent North attack.

That is the first of many for 10-fers for Ebadat in FC.

Hope he gets to do that some day in tests.

Greater things ahead

Ebadat and Mosaddek should have been in the Test side long ago. Absolute musts for NZ tour.

Btw, do we know the Bogra pitch was a greentop?

Looks like Shahidul Islam can become a bowling all-rounder. Been getting good with the ball and handy with the bat in F.C Cricket.
