I kept getting flashbacks of Riyad/Imrul at slips, it was always a 50/50 they would hold on to a catch

Gotta love Miraz - he never settles for mediocrity. He had a decent game last match, but was not happy with his performance, had discussions with seniors and coaches and pulled up his performance!

Shanto needs to go. How did he get in ahead of Naim?

Shanto needs to make the most of the opportunities he is getting now

Though Shanto got out to a poor shot, technically he looked better than Tamim today, handled both Alzarri and Akeal (two best Windies bowlers in the current side) well. I can see why the management putting so much trust on him.

Overall, I think they are on the right track to build up all those young players over next two years, before WC'23.

He didn't look like he struggled. He looked confident sweeping the ball too. He just has to make use of the opportunities he is getting.

We need to give a fair chance to Shanto. Let’s see how he does this series and the next 2-3. If his scores don’t improve, we need to look elsewhere.

I woke up this morning and didn't check the score. As I went to the bathroom, the thought crossed in mind: What if we lost?

Hahaha, imagine the uproar.

^^Still better than a dead forum.

Bangladesh still hasn't learned the art of going for the kill. Jugular and the whole nine yard. 88/8 to 149? How? They always get complacent when they had chance to stamp their dominance and authority. Dumb.

And judging by the strike rate of batsmen, they are still in the play-it-safe mindset. Treading on egg shells.

This series is so boring. Did we invite Zims by any chance.. did we ?
And, how pathetic is our batting? Play T20 and make the runs. Someone score a century ?

Conditions yesterday were actually batting friendly, but as always, Tamim's inability to rotate strike kept our scoring rate low. He's from a bygone era where SR in 70s was acceptable from a top order batsman.

Young Alzarri showed yesterday how to keep him quite - maintain a tight line directed at his body. Unless Tamim can overcome his limitations, Domingo needs to groom a replacement (Naim?) sooner than later.

Why do we have to win in 20 overs? Does the NRR count? They are playing after a year. Give them some slack!
