Take your Mirpur ground with you bro

Would be handy

Ireland doesn't even play much matches.. Eoin is a Good talent and he is doing well for England..

LMAO at Ireland who just comprehensively lost against Zimbabwe, who were themselves in tatters losing to a no-name Himachal XI in their previous match. What say Donal C?

Still a very talented team is Ireland no doubt! They are allround side who have more experience in this format than us...Doesn't matter what the warmup results are, they are called warmups for a reason! Will surely go through to the second round with us.

Only 1 team qualifies from each group bro, so it has to be either us or Ireland, can't be both!

Lulling BD into a false sense of security. Working like a charm.

Besides we just need to beat the Dutch, they're the main side in this group.

HK just able to beat Himachal Team -
HPCA XI 105 v Hong Kong 109/9 (20/20 ov) Hong Kong won by 1 wicket (with 0 balls remaining)

Zimbabwe got an easy win - Ire 155/8, Zim 160/4 in 17.5 overs.
Zimbabwe won by 6 wickets (with 13 balls remaining)

Looks like fielding first has an advantage here.

with the current form we are in if the asia cup was held one week earlier and we got the chance to get customized with the environment there I would have been pretty confident that we would win the group. but now I am kinda worried. its hard to get to a new place and play 100% to your potential without any match practice. even the mighty Australian team had troubles in the first test they played in BD

Ian Chappel :
"Six-hitting ability important to World T20 success"
http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine...ry/978575.html

Quote:
The players crucial to T20 success are: a top three, all capable of quick-fire but substantial scores, a new-ball bowler who takes wickets at both ends of an innings, a spinner who buys wickets in the middle overs, finishing specialists with both bat and ball, and fielders who excel in catching, saving runs and hitting the stumps.
Quote:
In just nine years since the inaugural World T20 tournament, the importance of six-hitting has expanded. It will play a prominent part in the 2016 tournament since Indian pitches can be flat and the boundaries short.
Forget for a moment the debate over bats improving while the boundaries are shrinking. In the prevailing circumstances it makes sense to select boundary-clearing batsmen. If you hit the ball in the air, better it lands in the stands than stays within the playing field.

Well matches were washed out today because of Western disturbance. I'm now scared that rain may spoil a few games in Dharmasala. Western disturbance typically persists a couple of days.

In fact there are rain forecasts from Friday onwards.

Nagpur match pitch preview -
Usually dry and cracked, the surface at the Jamtha Stadium is likely to be slow and low and could take turn. It's set to be a scorcher in Nagpur, with temperatures reaching 36 degrees.
