The Famous MCC tour of BD in 1978-79 season

This particular MCC tour of BD is famous because after the liberation war of 1971, during this tour, that the famous English writer Robin Marlow (check spelling) had written about Bangladesh Cricket and through his write-up, Bangladesh got the chance to participate in the ICC trophy in 1979 (and also probably the reason of why Bangladesh applied to be the ICC associate nation at the time).

I think this is the second tour. The first was in 76-77 season. In which Yousuf Babu became the star.

I didn't get the chance to watch the game or read the news. But looking at the scorecard it seems during that time our cricket was in a very good shape, because we managed to draws with MCC!!
