সৌন্দরয্য থেকে প্রেমের রসে সিক্ত সুতা। বোধকরি সৌন্দরয্য আর প্রেমের অবস্থান বড্ড পাশাপাশি।

ROFL.. this thread was pretty entertaining! So this is the thread Rommel keeps going on about? :P
awwww young love :P Sbsash..you said there is a boys group and a girls group.. well you guys should be past the stage where you run around going " ewwww cooties" lol. I always say its good to be friends with both genders I mean one of my best friends is a guy lol. Oh and I am going to say something different from Rommel, DON"T TELL YOUR PARENTS YOU HAVE A CRUSH! NEVER!!! that would be sucide. Unless ofcourse you have kool parents lol. I remember when i was 7 I told my parents I "loved" a guy and WOAH! lets not get there..hahaha!

I believe people our age don't exactly fall in love. It really annoys me how people our age date someone and they put their lover's name on msn saying " i love ( insert name)" and then 2 weeks later they have a different person's name..like WTH, its not love! Is just a crush ...it comes and then it goes...and then it comes again and the cycle continues lol. I find love very complicated tbh :S but I must say I hate the feeling of a broken heart ='( but then you just move on and find someone else to flirt with...BAHAHA :P

BTW back to the actual topic of beauty hahah- I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder and personally I think if a person has a good personality, they are automatically beautiful or handsome regardless of their looks. There are some really pretty girls and really handsome guys but when you talk to them..thats when you realise how ugly they are.

Personally, green/blue eyes and long hair does it for me. Also, despite how average a person may look like, confidence (not to be confused with ego) can add an irresistible layer of attraction towards the opposite sex, for me.

If a women is extremely beautiful but essentially a bimbo (ms Carolina), I couldn't care less how physically attractive she is.

Point being, beauty is defined by your circumstances and what you consider to be attractive.

ps. somewhat funny thread.

would you look upon a headscarved girl as an object of desire if she had short hair? what if it is a burkha wearing short haired girl?

1/ How would I tell?

2/ And there is a difference between lustful desire and admiration of beauty, in my post I was talking about the latter.

3/ I would not be interested in girls at all in that way, who have made that lifestyle choice. I would honestly even avoid unneccesary pleasantries and small talk with those in Burkhas.

So this thread may be the actual definition of cringe. If you're bored and looking for some entertainment, definitely check out the first few pages of this thread to see what 15 year old Rommel was like.

I think being a "grown up" is when you can look back on your life 5 years and NOT be embarrassed by the things you say/do. I'm definitely not there yet obviously haha.

Why would you bump up an ancient thread to embarrass yourself? Weird.

Ah well, while I'm here... here's an interesting read I found on reddit the other day: http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/th...ics-of-beauty/

Rommel I just read back some of the posts. I think that Orpheus kid was just funny as hell.. That kid was pure Brilliant. Now I see why people used to like his posts. He was smart, visionary and just pure raw funny.... I mean he made me laugh out loud even today..

I wish i was more like him, instead, i am older, dumber by atleast 70%, unfunny, lack of innovation and pure cranky sometimes...

sad... but yo Orpheus cracks me up, can the mods please bring him back.

Eh, I always thought that Orpheus guy was pretty overrated. Good thing he got banned and never came back with another alias or something crazy like that.

That is actually my nephew! He is indeed very adorable, I wish my illegitimate son looked like him!

Funny thing, that girl I talked about was not my girlfriend at all. She was just some attractive Bengali girl that I spoke to once or twice at a Wedding. I of course embellished the truth like any stupid 15 year old would!

Good times.
