Default How we prepare ourselves for the ODI WC after the BISMAL performance in NZ

Very very disappointing tour for the team just few months before the BIG tournament. NZ gave us no competition what so ever.

Well we have only 3 months to prep us but how do we turn us around?

- how do we get our stars to stay out of injuries
- how does Fiz to get his 'Fiz' back
- how do we keep Sabbir's to maintain his recent high performance
- how do we get our number 2 (Liton, Soumya or Imrul - ?) to perform alongside Tamim -
- how do we improve and even select our pacers

We rest in April & I believe we travel to England early May and play

- 2x v WI (tri series)
- 2x v Ire (tri series)
- 1x v Pak (Pak series)
- 1x v Ind (WU)

Not Enough!!! I wonder if we should cut the rest short and send our top 15 to UK early April to condition us and play the English counties. BCB must act fast.

Arey dhur. We just need to arrange another BPL after the NZ tour and everything will be fine with the world.

First we need a dictionary so we don't misspell "abysmal" in the future. That might be a good start.

Then a thesauras so we don't just say "yeah, obviously..." at the start of every question when speaking English.

I think he meant bismal as in pepto-bismal. He's saying that the NZ tour is giving him indigestion

Nothing new in Bangladesh cricket , it's all about highs and lows and they seem to go to bilateral away series to enjoy vacation. Let's hope they got the lows out of the system and ready to have a great world cup

I think we bat well in Eng conditions, it's in SA & NZ where we suck the most
Our team will be much stronger with Sakib & may be Taskin, I just hope before WC Mash,Rubel,Taskin,Mustaji all get to play together, gel together, unbismal together.
And the less we talk about Imrul,SS & Liton the better, I'm counting more on Soumya

Come on - have you guys not heard of pepto-bismal - lol

Urban Dictionary: bismal
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bismal
a word that directly refers to anything that is of a less-than-adequate quality.

FINE - can an admin please correct it to the proper spelling then - abysmal?

I think this is a kick in the backside that BCB needed.

Get a fielding and fitness coach who will comando style make them very good.

Sack Walsh now and getting a better bowling coach. Fizz really needed someone to coach him after his injury.

Also get a proper batting coach who can teach them shot selection.

There is still time to pick from this BISMALL/ abysmal/ Pallmall form.

Soumya and Mullah coming into form it seems after those two big hundreds. A soumya in form opening with Tamim at world cup and Mullah down the order with resurgent Sabbir, Mithun, Shakib Mushfiq will give cause for hope that this team will do some good at the world cup but we must avoid injuries at all costs.

I tried to look for Bismal's performance but couldn't find on Cricinfo. But I think safe to assume he is better than Liton at the moment.

Bismal is brother of Gojamaal, distant cousin of Golmaal from India. His grandfather is Ballsall and Aball.
