It seems they did not update their website. How come Ganguly is still on players list ? Didn't he resign ? And how come the following players on that site when Pune had already released them !

Very confidence boosting news cause if he had not been bought he would have felt bad abit cause he has done pretty well at t20s last year. And everyone wants to be in the ipl cauee of you know why. This news will boost him to proform well reminder of the bpl!!!

He needs to make the most of the opportunities he gets. He hasn't exactly set the BPL alight. If he plays he can proudly say he's played in 5 T20 leagues. Not even Shakib boasts that amount.

‘গত বিপিএল এক ফোঁটাও উপভোগ করিনি'

গত বিপিএলটা নানা বিতর্কে কাটলেও এবার এর মধ্যেই করে ফেলেছেন তিনটি ফিফটি। টুর্নামেন্ট শুরুর আগে বলেছিলেন, এবারের বিপিএলটা উপভোগ করতে চান। এখন আক্ষরিক অর্থে তাই করছেন তামিম ইকবাল। কাল রংপুর রাইডার্সের বিপক্ষে ফিফটির পর বলেছেন, ব্যাট হাতে রান পাচ্ছেন বলেই উপভোগ করছেন এবারের টুর্নামেন্ট

 ভালো একটা ইনিংস খেললেন। কেমন লাগল?
তামিম ইকবাল: দলের জন্য খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ইনিংস ছিল এটা। ভালো একটা ফলাফল করতে হলে এখন থেকে প্রায় প্রতিটা ম্যাচেই আমাদের জিততে হবে। আমি আর কভেন্ট্রি মিলে ভালো একটা ভিত্তির ওপর দলকে দাঁড় করিয়ে গিয়েছিলাম। এরপর অমি ভাই (জহুরুল) আর শন আরভিন ম্যাচটা শেষ করে এসেছে। আজকের ম্যাচে আমাদের দারুণ দলীয় প্রচেষ্টা ছিল।
 সব ম্যাচ জিততে হবে বলছেন...কোনো চাপ কি অনুভব করছেন?
তামিম: চাপ তো অবশ্যই থাকবে। আপনি যখন কোনো একটা দলে খেলবেন, আপনার প্রতি একটা প্রত্যাশা থাকেই। সেটা পূরণও করতে হয়। আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেট বলেন আর বিপিএল, সবখানে চাপ নিয়েই খেলতে হয়।
 খুলনার শেষ দিনে, এরপর চট্টগ্রামেও অনেক দর্শক হলো। কিন্তু ঢাকায় এসে আবারও দর্শকখরা। কী বলবেন?
তামিম: তার পরও আমার মনে হয়, অবস্থা আগের চেয়ে একটু ভালো। ঢাকায় শুরুতে যে রকম দর্শক ছিল, এবার তার তুলনায় একটু বেশিই মনে হচ্ছে। আর চট্টগ্রামে তো অনেক দর্শক হয়েছে। অসাধারণ। সব সময়ই বলি দর্শক না এলে খেলেও মজা নেই। টুর্নামেন্টও সফল হবে না। আমি আবার অনুরোধ করব, তারা যেন মাঠে আসে।
 দুরন্ত রাজশাহীকে এখন অনেক গোছালো দল মনে হচ্ছে...
তামিম: আসলে ম্যাচ জিতলে সবকিছুই ঠিকঠাক মনে হয়। হারলে আবার তা মনে হয় না। আমরা সব সময়ই গোছানো দল ছিলাম। হয়তো-বা সঠিক কম্বিনেশন হচ্ছিল না। তবে আমি মনে করি, দুই ম্যাচ ধরে কম্বিনেশনটা মোটামুটি ঠিক হচ্ছে। এভাবে খেলে যেতে পারলে আমরা একটা ভালো অবস্থানে পৌঁছে যাব।
 আপনি আর জহুরুল স্পিনারদের দিয়ে শুরু তো বটেই, বোলিংও করাতেন বেশি। কাপুগেদারা এসে দেখা যাচ্ছে পেসারদের দিয়ে করাচ্ছেন। কৌশলে কোনো পরিবর্তন?
তামিম: প্রথম তিন-চারটা ম্যাচ স্পিন দিয়ে শুরু করার পর আমরা অনেক বেশি প্রেডিক্টেবল হয়ে যাচ্ছিলাম। অন্য দলগুলো আমাদের সঙ্গে খেলতে নামার আগে থেকেই জানত যে আমরা কী করতে যাচ্ছি। এখন অন্যভাবে করাটা হয়তো টিম ম্যানেজমেন্টের পরিকল্পনারই অংশ। প্রতিপক্ষের কাজ যতটা সম্ভব কঠিন করে দেওয়া যায় আরকি।
 ব্যক্তিগত পারফরম্যান্সের দিক থেকে গত বিপিএলের সঙ্গে এবারের বিপিএলকে কীভাবে তুলনা করবেন?
তামিম: ভাই, গত বিপিএল আমি একটা ফোঁটাও উপভোগ করিনি। যে কারণেই হোক না কেন আমি বিন্দুমাত্র উপভোগ করতে পারিনি। আমি হই বা অন্য যেকোনো ক্রিকেটার, উপভোগ করতে না পারলে ভালো খেলতে পারবে না বা তার কাছে কিছু ভালোও লাগবে না। এবার অনেকগুলো ম্যাচ খেলেছি। চেষ্টা করছি উপভোগ করার। খেলা উপভোগ করলে পারফর্ম করাটা সহজ হয়ে যায়। উপভোগ না করলে হয় না।
 এবার উপভোগ করতে পারছেন পারফর্ম করছেন বলে, নাকি ফ্র্যাঞ্চাইজি বদলও একটা কারণ?
তামিম: বললাম যে আমি উপভোগ করার চেষ্টা করছি। এটা বলব না যে আমি ফাটিয়ে উপভোগ করছি। তবে ভালো খেললে তো ভালো লাগেই।
