Mushfiq's time is running out pretty soon if he does not improve either his keeping or ODI & T-20 batting. Because he has been dropping catches every match. His ODI or T-20 batting is also not as if he could take upon a specialist batsman's position right away. If he could compensate his each drop catch a match with his batting every match, then perhaps it would have been OK.

I think Mushfique has cemented his place as batsman in ODI, he has been scoring at 34 runs per game at a strike rate of almost 80. And you say his batting is not good enough for him to be selected as a batsman alone? Really harsh on him.
I think he should be relieved from his keeping responsibility and he should just become a specialist batsman.

PS: You have to consider he had to sacrifice his wicket looking for quick runs in many games, despite that his average is better than many.

I'm really eager to find out Saghir's performance against England. This is a big chance for him to break into the team as a specialist wicketkeeper.

actually i am not against his batting ability. i also think his keeping is much worse comparing to his batting. i think in keeping-wise he is one of the worst keepers we he had and batting-wise his technique is good. but the stat you are talking about it doesn't mean he is really a good batsman. as most of our team members, we got loads of talents which comes no use in the middle. the stat you are talking about is only for 8-9 month which is last 23 matches of bangladesh. his avg is around 34. are you saying that this is good in ODI after knowing that 10 of those 23 matches were against zim and 3 of them against a weak west indies team???? don't you think you are praising him too much. i know he could be handy in the middle order than a lower order batsman. in my point of view mushfiq should come to 3/4 and aftab should go down as he can hit hard. anywayz i don't want mushifq out of the team for his batting but we should look for a better keeper though.

He drops a few, understood, bad on him, but no less than the other fielders. At least he bats like a national cricketer sometimes. Everyone in the national team has a cemented spot, since there aren't anyone better to replace them. Garbage in, garbage out.

man I feel like these journalist are creating even divisions in our cricket which is by any means no good. These journalist should shut up nonsense. Look first MAsh vs Sahkib and now BKSP vs non_BKSP, what is this???

ditto.. Mushfique as ODi batsman doing really fine. After he moved to no. 4 he is palying so stable rule for the team, at least last two matches proved that. And he is such a strike rotater who can easily pick ups singles almost per ball which is very rare from bd batsman. So, he is doing really fine..

Well I am not saying he is the very best batsman. But he has done better than many. Most of the times he was pushed at no.4/3/2 he did a fine job. And also about the average, as I said earlier you must consider he had to throw his wicket away searching for quick runs. So the average does not really reflect his performance.
And about his keeping, I think we should really find a specialist keeper. His dropped catches are becoming too costly. I think he cost us around 400 runs this year already.

BAL party's পত্রিকা তো তাই কোথাও দলাদলির খবর না দেখলে হতাশায় ভুগে তো তাই কিছুটা কল্পনার আশ্রয় নেয়ার চেষ্টা আরকি।

Although his performace as wicketkeeper is horrendous, I believe as a batsman Mushi is invaluabe to ODI & Test matches. We should find a specialist keeper.
