This would be my team as well for the first match with the same order, as of now though.
Things could very well change if someone like Riyad or Imrul impresses in the warm up match and someone like Zunaid (not Gunaid ) fails completely.

Best batsman of a team should play at nr 3/4 position, who is capable of playing a long innings and can make a solid foundation. After so many years in ODI & Test cricket we are yet to produce any dependable batsman, instead we are relying on few kids who has absolutely no temperament and desire to play a big innings.

i think players like naeem, raqibul, shamsur, imrul, and have better temperaments, but whether they can become dependable is yet to be seen. i think rony talukder might have a good temperament as well as he's played a couple of big innings in domestic cricket.
we use to have players like rajin and JO but they were/are limited in talent and given the chance weren't able to become any more dependable as anyone else in the team.

Tamim
Zunayed
Mushfiq
Ashraful
Raqib
Shakib
Riyad/Mehrab jr
Mashrafee
Shahadat
Enamul
Rubel Hossain
The harsh truth is, Naeem is a 'bit of this, bit of that' all rounder. And in test bowling 10 decent overs or scoring 20 runs is not desired. That is why I would pick Shahadat instead of him.
We dont have any options in the opening spot really. So tamim Zunayed are automatic choices. I always wanted to see Mush in 3. And the rest of the batter just fill in the following places. But I would love to see Shakib bat a bit higher than 7, probably at 6.
And about Riyad or Mehrab, I think we should pick Riyad, he has been playing good cricket and deserves a test cap. And mehrab may get a call instead of Z in 2nd test[given Z fails]
Also, in test we have to look to get 20 wickets, so without a doubt, Shahadat comes in the team ahead of Robin and others, he may not be the best bowler, but he does take wickets. And the rest of the team are very predictable

Here we go again. Looks like we share something with Ashraful when it comes that ever elusive "ability to learn" ...
In all seriousness, I won't be surprised if you're right. There's always a 5-95 chance we'll have Eid Al Ashraf.
5%, we'll have it. 95% we'll witness yet more demonstrations of the GADHA swinging and poking his wicket away with suicidal nonchalance.
Will the chore of carrying water and equipment for a match or two bring us closer to the Eid? I don't know and thank GOD, don't care anymore. Feel pounds lighter in the process. Not waiting for that anymore ...

robin is not test worthy...rubel/shahadat at their worst will be = to robin at his best. robin will only slightly delay the inevitbale...at least rubel rajib will have the potential of taking a wicket, though rajib may be prone to leaking runs at 5 an over.

I totally disagree.
I saw him bowl wonderfully against South africa, he might not have got the wickets, but he is definitely a good prospect. He even bowled reverse swing.
He can also reverse. But I would prefer him as a back-up to Rubel-Mash-Shahadat.
Robin has bowled the most reverse swing out off all the bangladesh bowlers ive ever seen, but then again Ive seen Rubel reverse a 18 over old white ball a little bit.
This is what makes mashrafe so frustratingly average, his inabilty to reverse swing.

Riyad is a really good allrounder. He picked up 2 wickets against WI A. He should be in the 1st XI indefinately.

i hope we are not playing with 3 openers again. it really doesn't make much of a difference. i'd rather play an extra spinner preferably enam jr. so sakib doesn't have to ball too many overs.

Yes yes yes! Would be nice if Mehrab got a chance to show his moves though. Maybe in the next game. Pity that we only play two games (or maybe not - ijjot shomman boleo to ekta kotha ache).
