Manju
10-3-20-1 ? In Dhaka's flat wicket ? Glen McGrath ke lagche keno r ?
By the way, notice that we are playing with only TWO pacers in a wicket completely run by pacers, our pacers. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. (You can't really make some folks - me - happy). Manju bowled all his 10 overs, what do we have left ? 4 overs from Taposh.
How fast (read SLOW) does someone have to bowl to be able (to have the energy) to bowl 10 straight overs ?

ME and Durjoy
Thanks to my big mouth and the infamous MORX, WI broke silence. 9 runs from one over. Even Ehsanul (who hardly even gets the ball in league matches) did better.

Finally
We have finally found the perfect pitch for our bowlers. Now, if only we can get the players flown to Chittagong for the Bangladesh innings, we might actually take the fight to WI.

Since I came in
53 runs off 10 overs without a wicket and I have been subject to some harmless bowling. Why couldn't I come in before the 20th over and then go to sleep with a victory in mind ? *sigh*

This is my post
'Cept for that one post from HB fan.
Notice how young the West Indies players are ? Now, if they can get some good bowlers, WI stands a good chance of going on the top 3/4 in the next 2/3 years.

Target ??
37 runs off the last 5 overs. 90 balls left with 8 wickets. I see a MAIR coming our way with 72 balls of spin left. The 18 balls of pace isn't going to help us any.

SHuru Hoise (it started)
35.2 Alok Kapali to Samuels, SIX, MAXIMUM! short delivery on the middle,
Samuels goes back quickly and lofts it over the sqaure leg fence, it went a long long way
About time we give up on Kapali as a bowler. His batting will have to do.

The wicket was actually like a typical Dhaka domestic cricket pitch where ball stays really low, I mean really really low.
And Bangladeshi batsman and bowlers are more accustomed to this kind of a bad pitch, result - West Indies run rate initially being so low.
But Ramnaresh Sarwan has shown that whatever is the condition of the pitch, a once a talented test player should always adapt to any sort of pitch and conditions. - Only in our test batsman's case, this isn't true.
